I have a commit from a company to do a read out attempt on the raw file.
They are being very careful with where and how they do this for me. It may take a 4-6 weeks before I meet with this person. We have to wait until he's in my area and we are going to try to and get together. This will be very interesting. |

When working in esp o nage it's amazing how much every word and ever letter counts sometimes.
For instance my contact emailed me QUOTE ..would be pleased to demonstrate the functionality of <product> either here in <city> or at your location (when other travel facilitates). We understand that you wish to establish the compatibility of our system with your data before contemplating a purchase and, as we have done for other potential customers, we will undertake a demonstration of our product using your data. Now this company previously knew exactly what "my" data meant. But becuase I have been very cordial or otherwise, they didn't come out and flatly say NO. More like they just stopped talking to me. Then, I get that email above from someone in the company. So I go back a couple more emails, being very non-specific yet the undertone was obvious to me. Finally, after emailing him my number, and I have his promise to meet me, I asked him if he had talked with the other higher-ups at his company about my purpose. A simple sentence really QUOTE (UT) Curious. Have you spoken with either **** or **** as to my purpose for using <product>? The next morning my phone rings and my sweat glands go nuts. He would not answer the specific question about my "purpose" and would only repeat the offer, "as we have done for other potential customers, we will undertake a demonstration of our product using your data". He finished the brief phone call with. QUOTE (paraphrase phone converstation) We will see what we can see and hopefully your questions will be answered, and then we can go our seperate ways So that's the story. It's a long few weeks to wait, I hope I make it. |

To me, looking at it from a great distance, it looks as it would be very dificult to get any help from people... but to be optimistic... in the end you will find a person who will help if you keep on trying (I hope that)
I think everybody is afraid... dont want to get involved etc. But btw this is strange photo (IMG:http://pilotsfor911truth.org/forum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) ... but I expect everything is possible with forshorting lens etc. This post has been edited by behind: Sep 19 2006, 08:14 PM |
