Hi @ll,

I've found a swiss webpage that show technical details for the 767-200(ER) airplane type. Here they state:
Hoechstgeschwindigkeit in Bodennaehe (maximum speed at ground level): 914 km/h

I've calculated this for you and the result = 493.52 kn or 567.93 mi/h.

Well I know it's the technical details they state and I got no idea of the possibility. So my question to you is:
"Is it possible to get that speed for real, or is it absolute uncontrollable to fly with that speed, or will the plane break apart before that speed?"

Thanks for your help!

In general terms, any airplane can be flown at speeds above the redline, the max allowable speed.

But when that is done, a penalty is paid. The low end of the penalty is structural damage that might be repaired, and the high end of the penalty is failure of the airframe and its destruction. Generally speaking, it depends upon by what margin the redline is exceeded, and other factors such as gross weight and turbulence.

Thanks Amazed,
so it's definitely possible that American 11 hit the first tower with approx more than 500 km/h or 310,68 mph or 269,97 kn.
Some say it's impossible near to ground level (only speed).

It's like a chess game--one must sacrifice pieces to achieve a goal. The airplanes were only pawns, meant to distract from perhaps other motives and goals.
