To be perfectly honest, i desire neither to confirm nor deny this vile

accusation, alluding to my seemingly lack of originality, of ability, yea

even laziness, to choose a more exotic, a more dazzling user name! cool.gif wink.gif

Cheers

Look how complex my name is…

REB are my initials, El can mean = "the" or = "god"

A rebel who wins is a hero and a hero is a Elreb

I wonder what “Lunk” means

Strange how people interact superficially anonymously, on line.

Someone should do a study.

...and so many "handles" have a number with them...

Years ago, before i had an internet,
i was doing even more bizarre things.
Going from place to place, singing songs,
and playing original music for diverse audiences,
with a band.
Of course, having a band, means having a name.
So way back then, i was making up names,
just so we had something to introduce our selves by.
(we were a 3 piece, called the 2LeeS!).

Although, we became very tight as a band, locally,
i had no idea then, that the route to success in the music industry,
was controlled by monetary interests,
rather than actual, original, talent.
And that still goes on to this day.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aq_3zu7WWaA
Used and tossed.

So, i see a "handle" (for me) as a poetic license of a sort,
that can still allow ideas and creativity to grow,
unencumbered and unlimited,
by a real name.

Although, for a descriptive word, "lunk",
seems to suit well, for me,
if you haven't noticed.

My take…

[Is that really you?] [BeautifulGirl…By Dana]

I live in the real world and the other world I see…lives in a mirror

Only I see the real world which is a negative reflection of the apparent world…others live in…

Fascinating reading at

http://www.elreb.com/

a little different from my reading on everything:

http://pilotsfor911truth.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=19284

(it's gone off in a few wrong directions,
but i think, it has actually come to some rather real,
though seemingly mundane,
starling conclusions, along its' path.)

Dana is a genius.

What he was doing, for up and coming, musicians was phenomenal.
i think he was about to put the entire music industry, out of business,
with the truly, new, original, talent, that he was finding, networking, and promoting.

It is a real tragedy, that youtube switched, from promoting individual musical artists, (who built youtube!) by de-indexing only, the entire music category,
purely for the corporate gain, of the authorized pre-fab, corporate, music industry.

Perhaps it was Plato's warning, about 2300 years ago,
that all musicians should be licensed,
because of the, almost, absolute power that they can have over the masses.

He, who holds the lute,
makes the rules?
... !
... !
Beethoven Fifth.
Now, that's powerful.

Dana and I have a little in common…

He is handicapped where as I am disabled.

I have been looking into camera/recording equipment myself but funding is limited. I think I have some stuff in Sacramento but I have a fear of the TSA.

Dana needs better background…really…and something cheerful…

I use the kānaka maoli flag…the Native Hawaiian flag

i made some of my best "music" videos,
with a web cam or an obsolete "cheep" digital camera in "movie" mode.
Then squished them down to 1MB (the once-max. email attachment size) for sending to friends,
and fitting on the 3 and a 1/2 inch floppy, (drive A)!

The quality wasn't quite there,
but they were still videos with sound!

Hmmm,
the internet and the techno-information age,
has given everyone the tools to produce,
music, movies, entertainment, themselves,
without the million dollar studios,
and given each their own broadcast center.

...and to think, the internet was only intended,
as an information gathering device.

Nothing can divert or control,
the will, of a determined soul.

Paper is just a stumbling block,
...and the bigger the stack...

This is what I need…in Hawaii…get drunk and not fall over…

I've been using a 36 Volt bicycle for my Island ride. It goes 20+ mph, which is faster than the golf carts rented to tourists in the summertime.

But, it has two drawbacks:
I don't have studded snow tires for the icy streets today...
and, as elreb points out:
It doesn't have that 3rd wheel, so I'd have to be careful to not "fall over".
Since I live on the Island with the "World's Longest Bar";
this would be a serious drawback if I ever decide to start "drinking and pedaling".

I wish I could figure out how to put a picture here... try this:
Electric bike conversion kits
Their pics are copyrighted and not available for downloading... just like the girl on the bicycle? dunno.gif

I'm trying to figure out how to add another battery and lower the bike's center of gravity.
Of couse this will allow me to install a multi-media system for good music and lunk's videos.
My past attempts to recharge my batteries with solar cells haven't been successful,
but it might have worked in a warm and SUNNY place like Hawaii. cool.gif

I got a picture somewhere of my bicycle tri-brid.
It's only got 2 wheels, but it has electric power assist,
and i added a bike-bug, 2 stroke motor.
40 km/h on the flat, perhaps 10 km/h up a steep hill.
without peddling.
Now i need to add an alternator, and perhaps a HO generator,
also, i'd like to replace the super heavy lead acid battery,
with a light weight rechargeable lithium ion.
i guess with all this stuff i might as well have an inverter
so i can have 120 vac, as well.
Transportation and a power generator!

...and then, i'm going to need a trailer for behind it.
