"All gods are immortal men-

And all men are mortal gods..."

(Osiris)

Imagine a circle.

That circle represents an individual:

You- me- could be anyone; we all have a circle like that.

In the center of that circle, there is a throne-seat:

A bit like the driver's seat in a car, or- since this is a website with quite a few aviation-oriented members, the pilot's seat in an aircraft.

That throne-seat is the place from which you are meant to control your inner universe:

In fact, it's the place from which you are meant to create that universe.

It's the only place were you will ever be god:

Outside of it, you are a mere mortal.

There are other, concentric circles surrounding that inner one:

The various peripheral functions which make up an individual's inner universe.

But that inner circle is special:

It's a sacred place, because it's a shrine-

the dwelling-place of something divine.

Being in the center of that circle means being in between an infinite number of extremes-

pairs of opposing principles, like 'hot' and 'cold'...

This 'planetary system' does not stand still: It rotates.

That means that you need to be in the precise center of that circle:

You must sit on that throne-seat, or else the whole thing turns into a 'Devil's wheel'-

You'll be catapultet out, by the centrifugal force acting on the system.

That throne-seat in the center has an inscription on it:

The individual's name.

No one, and nothing else, must ever sit on that throne-chair.

A while ago, an entire nation just went un-conscious:

Preciously few people in the US were in the place were they needed to be.

Instead, there were all kinds of things from the outside sitting on their respective throne-seats:

Fear.

Bin Laden.

9-11. WMD's.

Patriotism.

The flag.

Greed.

Stupidity.

Ignorance.

And a good measure of self-righteousness:

'Praise the lord !'...

Those who sit on their own throne-seat are true divinities-

on account of creating and maintaining an entire universe.

And god (or goddess !) forbid that anyone ever simply barges into that throne-room and defiles it...

Imagine a second set of concentric circles like that:

Another individual.

Whenever two circles meet, they just slightly overlap.

In the middle between the two, there will be a shape looking a bit like a mouth.

That shape is an Egyptian hieroglyph:

It means something like "Mouth" (surprise, surprise...), "Word", "Speech", "Language"...

You could sum it up in the word "Communication".

Those two individuals will be "communicating".

The depth of the relationship between those two individuals depends on which of the circles are touching:

The further inwards you go, and the closer the two 'Throne-rooms' are to each other, the deeper the relationship will be.

The outer circles may be penetrated further:

But those two inner circles must only ever barely overlap...

Lest they begin to swallow each other.

If those two inner circles become locked, you will have what you could call "true closeness"-

A state which requires an enormous amount of trust, because the two individuals in question would be required to expose the holy of holies to each other.

In fact, they will hold the keys to each other's throne-rooms...

Based on the premise that those keys will never, ever be inserted into their respective keyholes, and they will never, ever be turned.

Those doors are only ever opened voluntarily, by the owner of the shrine.

Communication takes place through the open doors...

That is what love is made of:

That, and what you could call "mutual nurturing"-

The principle that everything which is given must also be received,

and that all which is received must be given back.

That only works if the individual is really sitting on that throne-seat:

Because that's when all those extremes on the periphery of the circle become like the colours of an artist's palette.

An individual like that can turn his or her entire existance into a work of art-

by creating balance and harmony.

Two individuals like that will create a common work of art.

A community of individuals like that will create a world of art.

But- nothing and nobody else must ever be allowed to enter that throne-room...

NOTHING AND NOBODY.

Great inspirational analogy!

There is nothing to spheres except
an infinite number of circles rotated
around a single point.

imo, lunk
