So blatant and shoddy it shows how confident these people are that the "general publlc" are as dumb as a box of rocks. Sad truth is, they're right.

The monopolists have "Islamic militants" doing their dirty work for them in the Caucuses, Pakistan, Libya and Syria but these same "Islamic militants" (in this case mainly from Saudi Arabia) carried out 9/11 so they invaded..errr..Iraq.

Libyan "rebels", Chechen "rebels", Syrian "rebels", Afghan "rebels" (when it suited). All CIA/Mossad creations.

Even though the UN begrudgingly admitted that Assad's forces didn't use chemical weapons and that US/Israeli backed mercenaries did, the BBC still refers to these people as "rebel forces"!

People are not really stupid…

They simply do not give a crap.

One problem is “Reality” TV which is about conflict.

Real Housewives of Orange County, Atlanta, Beverly Hills, New Jersey, the Kardashians, Desperate Housewives, Dancing with the Stars, American Idol…even Loggers, greatest Catch and on and on = all conflict.

People have become ultra-selfish, self-centered and perpetual liars and cheaters.

That too.

I can understand the general public being shielded from the information through the many filters and censorship.

I can understand the general public being self absorbed with the constant manufactured conflict and stress at every level in their lives (TV, mortgage, additives, drug industry, etc)

What I don't understand is, for example, the silence of the "9/11 families", most of all of the families of the kids hyped up, brainwashed, given a gun and dumped in a terrain that they have no clue about, not knowing what they're fighting for, and dying or being maimed by the same people that are being sponsored and armed by their own "government".

Those people should give a crap. And should be glued to the developments almost daily. So are they stupid? Or worse still, sacrificing their own for a lack of cojones? Blind loyalty to criminals and their slick smiles and lies? If it were my kid, I'd have him out of there by the scruff. I just don't get it.

Maybe it's because all of their lives they have been thought not to question authority, not only at home but also at school, at their workplaces, it's part of the general culture, people learn early on that it is best to conform, they might express it as as not caring about controversial subjects but deep down they are too scared to react. The sociopath is so much better adapted in a capitalist economy where It's every man for himself.

On a side note those big bad marines so many admire, many prefer ending their lives rather than question the war experience and the lies they went through, almost all understand that they have been used for immoral purposes but very few will speak out, too afraid to do so, they may act tough and carry weapons but they are not free men. Speaking out would be a cathartic experience for them but some prefer death, that is social control !

I think it is down to the overwhelming collective force of the media machine over the years. People don't think any more, they just want to be told "who are the good guys and who are the bad guys". Hence over here in NZ where the international news is filtered down to just propaganda, it is always "Syrian Rebels" and "Afghan Insurgents". Exasperating.

That's the crux of the problem KP. Until the media is exposed, we can pull out all of the evidence that we have, lay it out in detail, even to the point where it's actually admitted and documented, and the audience will be limited to the good people who frequent sites like this.

The media isn't just a propaganda machine any more. It pulls up the sheet to cover each and every every atrocity committed. The psychopath covering the tracks of other psychopaths with the door ajar listening to the butchering in the next room.

Sorry for the dramatics mate but I had a rude awakening trying to explain this to friends and family lately and the responses were shocking and disheartening. Truth can be a lonely companion.

“Israel has set up a large field hospital near the Tel Hazakah observation and military post on Golan which overlooks southern Syria and northern Jordan. There, incoming Syrian war wounded are vetted and examined by Israeli army medics who decide whether to patch them up and send them back, or judge them badly hurt enough for hospital care. The seriously hurt are moved to one of the the nearest Israeli hospitals in Safed or Haifa,” states the report.

Syrian Rebels in Trouble: German Intelligence Sees Assad Regaining Hold

Not even a year ago, German intelligence predicted Syrian autocrat Bashar Assad's regime would soon collapse. Now, the agency instead believes the rebels are in trouble. Government troops are set to make significant advances, it predicts.

By Matthias Gebauer

May 22, 2013 "Information Clearing House" -"Spiegel" - Germany's foreign intelligence agency, the Bundesnachrichtendienst (BND), has fundamentally changed its view of the ongoing civil war in Syria. SPIEGEL ONLINE has learned that the BND now believes the Syrian military of autocrat Bashar Assad is more stable than it has been in a long time and is capable of undertaking successful operations against rebel units at will. BND head Gerhard Schindler informed select politicians of the agency's new assessment in a secret meeting.

It is a notable about-face. As recently as last summer, Schindler reported to government officials and parliamentarians that he felt the Assad regime would collapse early in 2013. He repeated the view in interviews with the media.

At the time, the BND pointed to the Syrian military's precarious supply situation and large numbers of desertions that included members of the officer core. German intelligence spoke of the "end phase of the regime."

Since then, however, the situation has changed dramatically, the BND believes. Schindler used graphics and maps to demonstrate that Assad's troops once again possess effective supply lines to ensure sufficient quantities of weapons and other materiel. Fuel supplies for tanks and military aircraft, which had proved troublesome, are once again available, Schindler reported. The new situation allows Assad's troops to combat spontaneous rebel attacks and even retake positions that were previously lost. The BND does not believe that Assad's military is strong enough to defeat the rebels, but it can do enough to improve its position in the current stalemate.

Severing Rebel Supply Lines

The assessment appears to be consistent with recent reports from Syria, where government troops have been able to regain the upper hand in the region stretching from Damascus to Homs, including coastal areas near Homs. Furthermore, fighters loyal to Assad have expelled rebel fighters from several districts on the edge of Damascus and cut off their supply lines to the south. Currently, the regime is in the process of severing rebel supply lines to the west.

Meanwhile, the BND believes that rebel forces, which include several groups of Islamist fighters with ties to al-Qaida, are facing extreme difficulties. Schindler reported that different rebel groups are fighting with each other to attain supremacy in individual regions. Furthermore, regime troops have managed to cut supply lines for weapons and evacuation routes for wounded fighters. Each new battle weakens the militias further, the BND chief said.

Should the conflict continue as it has in recent weeks, says Schindler, government troops could retake the entire southern half of the country by the end of 2013. That would leave only the north for insurgent fighters, where Kurdish rebels have tighten control over their areas.

Lowering Expectations

Schindler's report on the state of the rebel groups allows little room for hope that serious talks between the insurgents and the Assad regime will take place soon. The BND says there is no functional chain of command between opposition leaders abroad and the militias inside of Syria. The fighters on the ground simply don't recognize the political leadership, says the BND.

The United Nations is currently doing all it can to encourage both sides to engage in peace talks in Geneva, though no date has been set. German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle is once again travelling to the Middle East on Wednesday to plan for such negotiations.

At a meeting of the "Friends of Syria" in the Jordanian capital of Amman, Westerwelle is set to meet with US Secretary of State John Kerry among others. But over the weekend, he sought to lower expectations, saying that it isn't clear yet whether the Assad regime is even prepared to engage in talks.

What the Syrian conflict is really all about...

Oil and Pipeline Geopolitics: The US-NATO Race for Syria’s Black Gold

Syria's proven oil reserves, amounting to 2.5 billion barrels

Syria’s proven oil reserves, amounting to 2.5 billion barrels, are greater than those of all neighboring countries except Iraq: according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration’s estimation of its oil reserves. This makes Syria one of the largest producers and exporters of crude oil in the Middle East.

The country also has large reserves of natural gas, hitherto used for domestic consumption, especially for conversion to gas-fired power plants. But there is a problem, the U.S agency reported that since 1964 the license for the exploration and exploitation of mineral deposits has been reserved for Syrian government agencies. Until 201O an annual income of more than $ 4 billion was procured from the export of oil, particularly to Europe. But things are changing with the war.

The ‘”Free Syrian Army” has taken control of important oil fields in Deir Ezzor. Other fields, in the Rumeilan, are controlled by the Kurdish Democratic Union Party, who are also hostile to the “rebels” with whom they have repeatedly clashed.

The U.S. / NATO strategy focuses on helping rebels to seize the oil fields with a twofold purpose: to deprive the Syrian state of revenue from exports, already strongly decreased as a result of the EU embargo, and to ensure that the largest deposits pass in the future, through the “rebels” under the control of the big Western oil companies.

Fundamental to this end, is the control of the internal pipelines. This has been sabotaged by the “rebels” in several places, especially near Homs where there is one of two refineries in the country, to stop the supply of petroleum products. But there is something strategically more important at stake: Syria’s role as a hub of alternative energy corridors, through Turkey and other pathways, controlled by the U.S. and the European Union.

The “war of pipelines” has begun: during its invasion of Iraq in 2003, the United States destroyed the Kirkuk-Banias pipeline carrying Iraqi oil to Syria. It remained in use, however, between Ain Zalah and Suweidiva.

Subsequently, in defiance of the prohibitions of Washington, Damascus and Baghdad have undertaken the project for two pipelines and a gas pipeline through Syria, connecting Iraqi fields to the Mediterranean and then to international markets.

Even more dangerous for Western interests is the agreement signed in May 2011 between Damascus, Baghdad and Tehran: it involves the construction of a gas pipeline through Iraq, which will transport Iranian natural gas to Syria and from there to foreign markets. These and other already funded projects, have been blocked by what the U.S. agency defines as “the uncertain security situation in Syria»

come on. trusting any geopolitical subdivision is ridiculous (and don't take that to mean a singular geopolitical entity would be: au contraire, even less so). the american gov't has zero cred abroad, the chinese gov't as well. unless spending $125billion for internal security makes you popular with the home crowd and the russians, well, just ask the poles, czechs, hungarians or the finns ( who the older generation still goes by the motto, ' a russian is a russian even if fried in butter' because of the lovely little liberation they planned back in the winter of '39).

al-ciada, mossad, kgb... all bullshit. why, because they all (every alphabet soup agency worldwide) commit state-crimes against humanity. to sign on or support any of them is to take your thirty pieces of silver.

It's not about trusting or promoting any one group or ideology but it's about recognizing that there are fundamental differences between an empire that is in decline and desperately trying hold on to it's power by whatever means, and emerging powers that are more interested in trade based on mutual interests. China and Russia will do business with anybody, from left to right, from Cuba to the USA, they offer a badly needed alternative to the USA and the IMF for loans and industrial development with comparatively few strings attached to third world countries. I believe in the long term we are moving towards a multipolar world, it doesn't mean utopia is near but it does offer possibilities.

I will also add that Russia, China, the BRICS countries and most non western nations have no problems having normal respectful relation with countries that do not have a Rothschild based banking system, while the USA and it's allies are the rogue nations going to war at the service of the banksters, after Irak, Libya, Sudan has been split in two, Syria next, all that will be left is Iran, North Korea and Cuba.

maybe, maybe not. china became what is today because of banker money. to assume that there are no strings attached would be naive, me thinks. the chinese are having problems w/ the japanese, filipinos and the indians among others.

who isn't for peaceful trade? well probably not the imf, wto, etc. nafta uses 2400 pages to define 'free trade' while it could be described by an elementary school student in 2 sentences. you and i and x billion others probably could engage in it peacefully, but like you said, we have no power.

i think the powerz are of the mind set (just like the robert vaughn villain character in one of the superman movies), 'it is not enough that i succeed, it's that everyone else must fail'.

does the lord acton quote, 'power tends to corrupt, absolute power corrupts absolutely' , pose a conundrum for us the powerless?

NATO Data: Assad Winning the War for Syrians’ Hearts and Minds

June 04, 2013 "Information Clearing House - LONDON — After two years of civil war, support for the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad was said to have sharply increased.

NATO has been studying data that told of a sharp rise in support for Assad. The data, compiled by Western-sponsored activists and organizations, showed that a majority of Syrians were alarmed by the Al Qaida takeover of the Sunni revolt and preferred to return to Assad, Middle East Newsline reported.

“The people are sick of the war and hate the jihadists more than Assad,” a Western source familiar with the data said. “Assad is winning the war mostly because the people are cooperating with him against the rebels.”

The data, relayed to NATO over the last month, asserted that 70 percent of Syrians support the Assad regime. Another 20 percent were deemed neutral and the remaining 10 percent expressed support for the rebels.

The sources said no formal polling was taken in Syria, racked by two years of civil war in which 90,000 people were reported killed. They saidthe data came from a range of activists and independent organizations that were working in Syria, particularly in relief efforts.

The data was relayed to NATO as the Western alliance has been divided over whether to intervene in Syria. Britain and France were said to have been preparing to send weapons to the rebels while the United States was focusing on protecting Syria’s southern neighbor Jordan.

A report to NATO said Syrians have undergone a change of heart over the last six months. The change was seen most in the majority Sunni community, which was long thought to have supported the revolt.

“The Sunnis have no love for Assad, but the great majority of the community is withdrawing from the revolt,” the source said. “What is left is the foreign fighters who are sponsored by Qatar and Saudi Arabia. They are seen by the Sunnis as far worse than Assad.”

Did an Israel lobby front group organize McCain’s trip to Syria?

By Maidhc Ó Cathail

June 05, 2013 "Information Clearing House - In an attempt to dispel embarrassing reports that Senator John McCain’s “surprise” trip to Syria featured a meeting with kidnappers — including Mohammad Nour of the Northern Storm rebel group — behind the 2012 abduction of 11 Lebanese religious pilgrims, The Daily Beast’s Josh Rogin cited Mouaz Moustafa, the executive director of a little-known organization called The Syrian Emergency Task Force:

“Nobody self-identified as Nour, and none of the guys who were standing outside were in the meeting with McCain,” said Mouaz Moustafa, executive director of the Syrian Emergency Task Force, an American nonprofit that helped organize the McCain trip. Moustafa is in the picture and was also inside McCain’s meeting with the rebel commanders, along with Task Force political director Elizabeth O’Bagy.

Rogin’s defense of McCain, of course, rests on the perceived independence of Moustafa’s “NGO.” The Syrian Emergency Task Force, however, appears to have close ties to one foreign government and its powerful American lobby. Not only is Mouaz Moustafa listed as one of the Washington Institute’s “experts,” he recently addressed the AIPAC-created think tank’s annual Soref symposium on the theme of “Inside Syria: The Battle Against Assad’s Regime.”

Even more intriguingly, one of the web addresses for Moustafa’s nonprofit is “syriantaskforce.torahacademybr.org.” The “torahacademybr.org” URL belongs to the Torah Academy of Boca Raton, Florida whose academic goals notably include “inspiring a love and commitment to Eretz Yisroel.”

Of course, none of this will come as any surprise to those familiar with John McCain’s lifelong service to the Land of Israel, a commitment that has invariably been at the expense of U.S. interests.

Update: Asked by a social media friend for his thoughts on my piece, Moustafa tweeted:

“utter BS I was born in a refugee camp denied entry to Palestinian territories by Israel even with American passport”

Perhaps his friends in the lobby can put in a good word for him.

After all, he helped organize their leading American asset’s trip to Syria; he’s a contributor to WINEP’s forum for Arab democrats; and for a dispossessed Palestinian refugee bears remarkably few grudges. “The Jewish American community here has always supported humanitarian causes and has always stood by the right thing,” he recently told the Jewish Daily Forward, “and I hope they’ll continue to do so.”

DAMASCUS, Syria — Twin suicide bombers targeted a police station in the center of Damascus Tuesday, killing 14 people as regime forces aggressively pressed ahead with an offensive on rebel strongholds elsewhere in the country. The rush hour blasts, which caused extensive damage to cars and storefronts, demonstrated the ability of insurgents to strike deep in the heart of President Bashar Assad's regime despite a series of recent setbacks on the battlefield.

The bombings, which occurred in central Marjeh Square near the Interior Ministry, were the first such attacks to target the capital since regime forces, backed by fighters from the Lebanese Hezbollah group, chased rebels from the strategic town of Qusair nearly a week ago.

Prime Minister Wael al-Halqi said the attacks were a result of "the bankruptcy of the terrorist groups and those behind them because of the exceptional victories of our heroic armed forces all over Syria."

Al-Halqi said Qusair's fall has rattled the enemies of Syria and pledged that the army would soon restore security and stability to the entire nation. The regime refers to the rebels as "terrorists."

Rumblimgs from Obama tonight is that they're just going to go ahead with plodding into Syria and murder millions based on bullshit "sarin used by Assad".

This is worse than the Iraq WMD lies. No effort needed. Joe Public just takes it up the ass. And they deserve it as far as I'm concerned at this minute.

Barack Obama’s war hawk line is much worse than even George Bush Jr’s fraudulent line was back in 2003, because in 2013, even the UN has already given its assessment that it was in fact those US and Saudi/Qatari-backed terrorist ‘rebels’ fighters – many professional foreign fighters working in Syria under the al Qaeda banner – who have been caught red-handed using a type of chemical weapon on the Syrian people – and not Bashar al Assad’s government forces.

Where are all of the anti-war protests that filled the streets of Washington and London during the WMD lies?

The "Arab Spring" was/is a CIA operation. I can't believe people still fall for this shit.

QUOTE
In an interview with the French TV station LCP, former French minister for Foreign Affairs Roland Dumas said:

‘’ I’m going to tell you something. I was in England two years before the violence in Syria on other business. I met with top British officials, who confessed to me that they were preparing something in Syria.

This was in Britain not in America. Britain was organizing an invasion of rebels into Syria. They even asked me, although I was no longer minister for foreign affairs, if I would like to participate.

Naturally, I refused, I said I’m French, that doesn’t interest me.’’

Dumas went on give the audience a quick lesson on the real reason for the war that has now claimed the lives of tens of thousands of people.

‘’This operation goes way back. It was prepared, preconceived and planned… in the region it is important to know that this Syrian regime has a very anti-Israeli stance.

Consequently, everything that moves in the region- and I have this from the former Israeli prime minister who told me ‘we’ll try to get on with our neighbours but those who don’t agree with us will be destroyed.

It’s a type of politics, a view of history, why not after all. But one should know about it.’’

Dumas is a retired French foreign minister who is obliged to use discretion when revealing secrets which could affect French foreign policy. That is why he made the statement ‘I am French, that doesn’t interest me’. He could not reveal France’s role in the British plan as he would be exposing himself to prosecution for revealing state secrets.

There have been many disinformation agents in the British and French press, many of them well known ‘leftist’ war correspondents and commentators, who have tried to pretend that Israel secretly supports Assad. Those who make such arguments are either stupid, ignorant or deliberate disinformation agents of NATO and Israel.

Israel’s support for Al Qaeda militants in Syria has even been admitted by the mainstream press. For example, Germany’s Die Welt newspaper published a report on June 12th on Israel’s medical treatment of the Al Qaeda fighters.

Israel planned this war of annihilation years ago in accordance with the Yinon Plan, which advocates balkanization of all states that pose a threat to Israel. The Zionist entity is using Britain and France to goad the reluctant Obama administration into sending more American troops to their death in Syria on behalf of Tel Aviv.

Nasser was not perfect but he was a secular leader who fought for Egypt's sovereignty and Arab unity, compared to today's Arab leaders he was a giant.

It was reported by a British newspaper and subsequently removed. Not before it was luckily cached:

Even if you're not interested in Syria, read this thoroughly. It's a good insight as to how false flags are set up and instigated.

I knew that you were...

I just wanted to show by this video that Arab leaders where not always backwards.
It is the West that always support the most reactionary Arab leadership and sectarianism (divide and conquer) and does everything to eliminate progressive leaders.

I remember seeing a french documentory on Afghanistan during the "Soviet occupation", a reporter was questioning people in Kabul and Kabul University about the Soviet presence, some where for, others against, but what was surprising is that most people including women were wearing western clothing, no Hijab in sight, and then came Bin Laden and his freedom fighters. Before Afghanistan was "liberated" all boys and girls could go to school, 50% of doctors who graduated from Kabul university where women, all aspects of life was better for the average afghan, even today you will find pictures everywhere of Najibullah in Afghanistan.

“And this military [Syrian], which is a huge threat to Israel , is now also weakening and, in a way, disintegrating. From that same piece...

QUOTE
While Evangelicals (not all) are rupture-ready and encourage Israel ’s expansionist agenda, Israeli politicians are not yet Armageddon-ready; at least, not yet.

In March 2013, Business Insider revealed that the United States is spending hundreds of millions of dollars building bunkers in Israel due to be completed 900 days from February 13, 2013. The project called Site 911 “will have five levels buried underground and six additional outbuildings on the above grounds, within the perimeter. At about 127,000 square feet, the first three floors will house classrooms, an auditorium, and a laboratory — all wedged behind shock resistant doors — with radiation protection and massive security. Only one gate will allow workers entrance and exit during the project and that will be guarded by only Israelis”.

Each door of the facility will have a detailed description of the mezuzahs written in“in-erasable ink”.

So from Ash Wednesday (Feb 13), completion date in 900 days (Sunday, 2 August 2015)

What have these lunatics in mind?

Act of War: Israel Attacks Syrian Weapons Depot Containing Advanced Russian Arms

QUOTE
Recent reports by RT tend to confirm that Israel did attack a Syrian weapons depot in Latakia and that the operation was conducted out of a Turkish military base. (M. Ch, GR ed, July 15, 2013)

QUOTE
Israeli intelligence has created a tacit alliance with the rebels who serve Israel’s interests when Assad acts in ways Israel believes will harm it. Hezbollah’s role in the Qusayr fight may have caused alarm in the Israeli defense ministry, which may’ve seen this as further evidence of escalation inside Syria. If Israel could take Hezbollah down a peg or two after its victory taking the Syria town on Assad’s behalf, it would be eager to do so. In this sense, the Syrian civil war is a proxy battle between Israel and Hezbollah who are itching for their next direct confrontation (the last one being in 2006).

Beirut, Lebanon (CNN) -- The peace of prayer time at a mosque in Aleppo was shattered Wednesday when Syrian army planes bombed the site, killing and injuring several worshippers, activists said.

The scene was of complete devastation. The main hall of the mosque and the minaret were destroyed and many of the wounded were in critical condition," Hazem said.

"There was no reason to target this mosque and it is not the first one to be targeted in the neighborhood. There is no FSA base in the mosque and it was not frequented by rebels," he said, referring to the rebel Free Syrian Army.
