Hi all,

Let me just state up front that I have worked for more than one US govt. defense contractor (which gives me certain "perspective" in this area). Now my question is- how many of you have been involved in some "shady business" dealings? When/who were these with (without naming any NAMES to "protect the guilty..." rolleyes.gif )

I'll open with the way that Congress and the CIA use "temporary" front companies to get around/ "over sight" the GAO audits.

When: 2000/2001
Who: Privately owned security company involved with state/federal AU governments.
My part: A very unwilling participant in fraud.
Lesson learned: Whistle-blowing is futile within a system that is rotten to the core!

Thank you mrodway for having the courage/integrity to even respond [my apparent fellow "gear in the machine." wink.gif ]

I guess we will just wait to see who else has the "nads" [doesn't that green stuff come from Oz BTW? wink.gif ] to "belly up" to this topic...

Part of my intent here was to help dispel the "but someone would have talked" fallacy that the Skepterz like to parrot.

I worked for a jewelry manufacturing in Miami during the early 80's, when gold went sky high the first time.

Noreiga would send couriers with briefcases of cash to buy as much gold as we could sell them. Amazing to watch the local bank bend over backwards to deposit the loads of cash, all with a wink and a smile.

For about a year prior to 9/11 I was involved in the repair and certification of the fuel transports which delivered jet fuel to Logan airport amongst others.

Gold, women, drugs, and weapons...

How little times/currencies have changed in the last 2 millennia... sad.gif

Now the currency is apparently "energy," and I'm personally working at "pirating" some of that for the benefit of the "proles..." [and Sanders might be able to verify my "pirate" heritage now] wink.gif
