I remember reading somewhere months ago that there were people who were bumped from Flight 93. The reason I am reminded of this is that I was talking to a friend who said she has a client who was bumped. My friend thought nothing of it at the time, but when I told her the flight was not full, she remembered her client telling her. She is going to ask her what the reason was.

Does anybody know anything about this?

I remember reading an article from someone who was on the Delta flight that landed in Cleveland. According to her statement, the price of Flight 93 jumped quite a bit before 9/11. Apparently, she used to take that flight all the time but took the Delta flight instead because of the price jump.

Edit: I found the article and I was wrong. It was Flight 11 that jumped in price. Here's a quote:
QUOTE
Our brush with death was frighteningly close. When our company made the travel arrangements for our trip to LA two months ago, [my spouse] told the staff to book us on the American flight 11, the flight we usually take to LA, but in the day it took for the travel agent to get back to us, the price of the flight had gone up several hundred dollars, and for economic reasons only, [my spouse] instructed the staff to look for a less expensive flight. Fortunately, Delta Airlines had a lower fare. With gallows humor we have all been expressing how grateful we are that [my spouse] is so economy-minded when it comes to travel expenses.

Sorry for the mix up. I would definitely like to hear more about passenger bumping though.

"marky" mark wahlberg was supposed to be on 93:

http://www.starpulse.com/news/index.php/20...haunted_by_9_11

http://www.contactmusic.com/news.nsf/artic...0friend_1007863

and actor seth macfarlane was rumored (not verified) to have had reservations on flight 11 from wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seth_MacFarlane

"On the morning of the September 11, 2001 attacks, MacFarlane was scheduled to return to Los Angeles on American Airlines Flight 11 after being a keynote speaker at his alma-mater in Rhode Island..."

plus some other celebs who got "lucky":

i guess the "establishment" couldnt risk any unintended (celeb) casualties.

Verrrrrry many 'coincidences' .

The McFarlane guy was 10 min late on one site and on killtown it states that it was due to a 'typo'.... COULD be the same, but why explain in differently??

And then being bumped off a flight which is only half-full?? I would definitely like to know more about that!

hadn't thought of that, wouldn't they be trying to get more passengers on a half empty flight, rather than bumping them off?

I'm with my friend who knows the bumped lady right now. She is now reminded to ask her about this, and when I find out something I'll let you guys know.

I read on one of the 911 sites that flight 91 had a broken windshield and that is why the passengers were moved to flight 93.

I'll ask my friend about this again. She has some major stuff going on in her life right now, but I will remind.

I've often thought about the fact that four quarter-full planes makes one full plane. unsure.gif

Hello again!

I need to test an idea that suddenly hit me at around 2 o'clock in the morning. smile.gif But before I spell it out, I was just wondering... With all these reports of passengers being "bumped" from AA11, are there any real people who know anyone that actually took flight AA11 or AA77? This is crucial for testing my hypothesis.

Thanks in advance.

Did you ever share your theory? I didn't see it here.

Oceans Flow,

Any update on the bumped lady?

I am estranged from the person that told me of this, so it's urban legend at this point.

However, I do believe it's true. Just can't prove it and never will be able to.

You did? I thought you said you had more as to why this person was bumped and you had a theory?
