That seems quite odd."- Dnbaudio I think this refers to the video from 0:00 to 0:25 above. For comparison, here is a fuel tanker on (diesel) fire in Belleville, KS on Hwy 81: Fuel Tanker Fire #1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7sI1y03zl4 I would assume that this was "fuel oil" or Diesel #2 since there are many farm tractors and diesel pickups and semi-trucks in KS, whereas Jet A is essentially kerosene/Diesel #1 (not that the open air combustion would be hugely different though). EDIT: Also wouldn't the 2 fire trucks driving around near 1:00 to 1:15 have driven over one of the photographed pieces of "aircraft wreckage?" |

dMole, the trailer you show on fire is a "semi-trailer, tanker", it obviously disengaged from the 5th wheel which locks onto the kingpin on the semi-trailer. The problem I have is with fluid, being 10,000 gallons of diesel. That would have been spilled into a very large pool on the ground. That aside, it is a diesel fire as evidenced by the heavy black smoke. In the footage of the generator trailer at the pentagon the smoke is both black and white. There should be nothing in a gen-set to produce white smoke. All that and the lawn is clean in the Pentagon shots in the original post, just tire tracks.

First time I've seen this video. Nice find!
------ Lot's of stuff doesn't make sense in these pictures. Why were so many cars and trucks parked so close to the building to begin with, including a couple that appear to have big loads of fuel? Before the collapse, it seems that it's mainly the vehicles that are on fire. There's not that much fire coming from the building until after the collapse. as a trivial note, some of that footage looks like it was taken by one of these guys:

That image was a private image sent to use from proven liar Keith Wheelhouse who claims the C-130 "shadowed" an AA jet and veered away from the building at the time of the explosion.
