Here's what Kathleen posted at "Black Box Forum" she raises a good question, and I would like to here your comments as well.

QUOTE (Kathleen Wynne @ Sunday, November 05, 2006 - 04:46 pm)
Since I don't believe for a minute that the vendors, politicians and election officials, who still swear by these machines, are not going to just sit quietly by and allow the American people to gain the upper hand in the argument against electronic voting machines, could the following scenario be possible as a way to catch us off guard? An even more sobering thought. Could the following outcome in the election be a deliberate short-term strategy in order to make certain the upper hand remains in the hands of the electronic voting machine advocates? Remember, I'm only thinking outside the box and this is pure speculation...ok, here goes...

Based on the strong response and burgeoning awakening of citizens around the country as a result of the findings shown in the documentary Hacking Democracy, isn't it possible that should the Dems take control of the House, could this outcome be a way to counter any momentum being gained by citizens advocating the return to hand counted paper ballots?

Couldn't such an outcome also be used to argue that if the machines could be easily tambered with, wouldn't the Republicans do everything possible to hang onto their power? I say this because a large number of Americans still believe it is the Republicans who predominantly cheat in elections and, therefore, this bias could be used to confuse and misdirect people regarding the issues being raised against these machines? Also, could such an outcome be used to vindicate these same voting machine advocates and stop any possibility of an evolving critical mass of citizens demanding that the machines be taken out of elections altogether?

Granted, these are definitely farfetched ideas, but I'm just trying to figure out how in the heck they are going to counter the overwhelming evidence presented in the documentary against the use of these machines.

Not so far-fetched at all, I really wouldn't put it past them. Neither the Reps or the Dems. Having said that, AT THIS POINT IN TIME it would be a bit of a 'brake' on the Rep.plans if the Dems should win the upper hand in these elections, it would at least buy us some time - or am I being naive ???
The Democratic party is still JFK's crowd to me (old biddy) and after all, Clinton did a heck of a lot better for the USA than Dubaya in his wildest dreams could hope to achieve?

Correct me if I'm wrong...

I think the fundamental problem is the american people don't have a voice or leader so to speak to make them get the upper hand and bring these people to justice. We do have some representation, but its scattered. We need a voice to represent us to expose the lies and hypocrosy that is going on in this country. Then maybe, just maybe, we can bring these people to justice.

But thats just my opinion.

I have to agree with you.

The closest thing right now even resembling a national voice is Alex Jones.

Bev Harris' scenario is very plausible IMO. It's all about manipulating the masses into thinking they have a choice and they are free. Got to admit that based on results, "they" do a very good job of keeping the sheople calm.

Hi and welcome Kathleen. Good to see you here. This is what I was referring to in Bev Harris' speculation.

Make the Dems win so all the "conspiracy theory" types can be dismissed. Let "the people" think they really do have a choice and stop all the noise about the Diebold type machines from being done away with.

If you research the history of govt. sponsored propaganda in the US and around the world, you'll see that the masses are kept as "happy" or "contented slaves" as it's in the best interest of the ruling elite. We outnumber them by a huge margin and only serve their agenda because "the American dream" is fulfilled with debt and the illusion of home ownership and some minor accumulation of wealth. The wheels of that apple cart will be flying off in the next few years. The "unwashed masses" will become unhappy or discontented slaves at that point, but it will be far too late to do much about it.

Financial destruction of the middle class and the depopulation of the planet are planned from there. The order of depopulation is set to be 1) starvation, 2) disease, 3) social violence and 4) war. If you're dumpster diving for food, you don't make a good political dissident, especially if the govt. is handing out scraps for a near starvation existence. Hope this makes sense. Let me know if it doesn't.

Welcome to the Forum Kathleen Wynne

I have watched many of videos with Bev about voting fraud, and have uploaded them to Google. Whatís nice about this video is that HBO has exposed lots of info in just 82min, and my hats off to HBO being a Mainstream Media getting this out. I have been putting it into the DVD player at the restaurant sense Saturday morning, and going by there to keep it playing. Right at this moment I'm making a new DVD of this that will be auto replay, so that I don't have to keep going over there to restart it.

For you to get an idea what I do, watch this video of me using 911 Mysteries
