I came across this while skimming through videos and it caught my attention. I'm certainly not an expert in aircraft components or military hardware, but to me it looks like a warhead. It is lying in the street after both towers were hit so i'm not sure which one it is from. It may be nothing but I thought I would bring it forward just in case. The video loses sound for some reason but it doesn't really matter. Fast forward to the 6 minute mark and you will see it shortly.

Thanks for any info

No idea what it is. Maybe part of the airplane? Almost looks like fiberglass?

Hmm, to me it appears metal, not airplane aluminum or fiberglass, etc. It almost appears to have a hardened nose or perhaps a fuse, and a highly flammable substance appears to be burning feverously aft of the nose. This could be all my imagination of course, but my gut instincts are usually correct. I beleive it is from the south tower impact. I remember seeing Glen Stanish talking about the "pod" and flash of light in line with said pod. Taken in context with that, a warhead laying in the street would literally be a smoking gun if that's what it is. I hope the former airforce/military personel here might be able to identify.

For what it's worth, the word is 'ordnance', not ordinance. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
