There is an error in the 2d paragraph : read "badly welded" instead of "not welded".

Thanks DoYou and Paul for the interesting pictures. Picture with the yellowish jagged edge : IMHO it looks more like the effect of chemical corrosion than of melting. Melted steel is often darker and the edges are a bit rounded. I associate it with the pictures and comments by Prof. Astaneh. Hiram What kind of chemical can cut through steel, especially a piece as big as this one? I would guess the damage was done relatively recently, since it's still all bright and shiny. Wouldn't it turn rust colored within even just a few weeks, especially in the salty air around lower Manhattan? |

Wouldn't it turn rust colored within even just a few weeks, especially in the salty air around lower Manhattan? The steel piece looks like one of the plates welded to the peripheral columns (spandrels) and assembled by bolts by group of 3. By memory, their thickness goes from 1/2 " to 1/4 ", the picture don't shows it. It seems to have been teared along a line of bolts holes and submitted to corrosion. The chemical involved could simply be water acting on hot steel, nearly all the unpainted parts of steel members show that orange colour. That has probably no influence on the ruin of the towers, but you can see a big difference between the peripheral steel and the core columns. The first was thoroughly rust protected (red paint) and the second beared almost no trace of paint. It could also come from acid contained in UPS batteries for we are told there were such back-up power installation in the buildings. It's a rather unlikely hypothesis. Hiram |

Hiram You mean the UPS batteries that they installed on the 81st Floor? The same floor that already carried more load then any other floor. Where they housed the dozen 24 ton elevator hoists? Sure might cut down on the amount of explosives you would need to destroy the building, if you cut loose the floor that carried all this weight. Maybe that's why we see molten metal pouring out of the corner of this floor, right before the collapse of WTC 2? You can make a floor fail by blowing out the corners, and if you wanted to start a top down collapse, the 81st floor was a key floor because of the way it was constructed. |

The US Customs Building, Building 6, had a store of weapons in which were encased in melted concrete. http://whatreallyhappened.com/IMAGES/9-11guns/DSC_7411.html Now why would an ordinary office fire melt and encase the guns? They build nuclear power plants out of concrete and here is an explaination of a meltdown. WTF melted the concrete. Thermite would have no reasonable application in the WTC 6. It was not an important building to the destruction of the 2 towers such as WTC 7 that might hold clues to the perpetrators, just a casualty of the situation. Encasing the weapons in melted concrete would have had to been an immediate reaction to an event during the destruction of the towers, draw your own conclusions. This could explain it: from: http://www.shoah.org.uk/2011/04/08/nuclear-911-undeniable/ (mod please embed if appropriate) A UK radio program interview of a former USSR nuclear investigator. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ On another note, if you're running windows, there's a program called "character map" usually found in your accessories folder that nicely does all your special character handling needs. 32° for example, or © or Ψ etc. If you don't already have character map on your computer you can google for it by it's name "character map". Obwon PS, almost forgot: The molten steel that results from thermetic reactions, is a by product of the reactants, not of the steel that it acts on. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cleanup.gif) |
