Accurate accounting accountability accessing astronomical amounts of Au,
...found lacking at Canadian mint.

OTTAWA The federal government has asked the RCMP to launch an investigation into the tens of millions worth of precious metals that have gone missing from the Royal Canadian Mint.

Its probably an accounting error rather than a physical loss by theft. 10 mil is only about 160 2-kilo bars at today's value. I could imagine a book keeping error as they do so much trade with outside buyers (lots of accounts). They probably buy all the stock bars from one source, Johnson & Matthy here in Ontario.

...on the other hand,

That's only about 3 wheel-barrows,
...wouldn't take long, to move.

That's a fact, but i will imagine the Mint (like any place that deals in billions) has fool proof security, otherwise a lot more that 160 2Kilo bars would be missing. They will find the error i trust. The person at the top of the ladder in charge of physical inventory is probably having a nervous break down right about now.
