i don't know about you, but this whole country is becoming surreal. the guy who got beat up, well, his last name is 'crooks'. you can't make this stuff up. the only way this would have been more orwellian is if the guy beating him up was actually employed by department of justice.

what was that rolling stones line, 'every cop is a criminal...'.

nothing to see here folks....
i was just doing my job....
who guards the guardians...
etc
etc
etc
etc

In terms of Public Safety…you rarely see “Fire-fighters” at doughnut shops, overweight, beating up Arsonist or speeding when they are not on call.

Last time I looked “public Safety” involved the protection and prevention of events that could endanger the safety and health of the general public.

I kid you not…I feel nervous every time a cop follows me…even when I am 100% legal and sober. It’s almost like they are looking for a reason to harass you.

I’ve always felt that there had to be a victim…before there was a crime…

in common law there had to be a victim; some human being had to be harmed or diminished in some way. more than that, there had to be intent.

welcome to animal farm, where some animals are more equal than others.

In California they have a thing call the “Diamond” [carpool] lane.

CHIPs [California Highway patrol] will race across 4-6 lanes of heavy traffic [on their BMW’s] to signal you to move from the far left lane to the far right lane…stopping almost all the traffic…to give you a $341 ticket.

I have actually seen this cause accidents and pileups.

In Florida, Waldo has been a speed trap for 20 years on US Hwy 301…55 to 35 mph in about 20 feet. They even park a dummy tractor in front of the school zone sign…$440 fine.
