I was wondering if anyone could give me any references on the engine being found outside the C-ring exithole. I've heard there was a Pentagon news briefing about it, but I can't find it anywhere.

Thanks,
Janusaur

I never heard of that.

It has been blamed on the nose cone and landing gear but I've never heard that it was supposed to be from an engine and there sure isn't any engine in any images of the AE drive.

It is not about the engine component specifically, but here are 2 links to a 15 Sep 2001 Pentagon press release about the the reinforced section.

I remember Rumsfeld making several statements too.

Here, well, they dont say engine being found, but that the engine punched the "exit hole"

"On the inside wall of the second ring of the Pentagon, a nearly circular hole, about 12-feet wide, allows light to pour into the building from an internal service alley. An aircraft engine punched the hole out on its last flight after being broken loose from its moorings on the plane."
www.mdw.army.mil/news/Commentary-Remembering_the_honored_dead.html

And on www.cooperativeresearch.org you can find "Various Explanations Offered for Pentagon ‘Exit Hole’"

Hmmmm. Wonder where the jet engine disappeared to? It sure did not pierce the B-ring wall. Maybe the rotors were still spinning and it flew up into the stratosphere.

That engine story is ofcource an absurd idea.

But interestingly there is no mention in the Pentagon Building Performance Report on what happened to the aircraft's engines inside the building. And in the Purdue animation there is no engines at all !

Yes I noticed that one too. Is that anything like Leslie Robertson's 600 mph "fuel-less" Boeings? ohmy.gif

I was looking a little closer at and backing up the Purdue information recently, since it appears to be "moving" from their file servers.

Here is the "fancy" Purdue version of a Boeing 757-200:

which was apparently simplified in the "simulation" to:

http://wiki.cs.purdue.edu/cgvlab/lib/exe/f...anefeamodel.jpg

Purdue tells us this is a "Pentagon column":

http://wiki.cs.purdue.edu/cgvlab/lib/exe/f...umnfeamodel.jpg

but we are shown this in the "[impact] simulation output data:"

The Purdue WTC/Pentagon Simulation pages are currently at:

http://wiki.cs.purdue.edu/cgvlab/doku.php?...ale_simulations

http://www.cs.purdue.edu/homes/cmh/simulation/

And don't forget gang, "Do you believe in conspiracies? Then read the Aerospaceweb." rolleyes.gif

http://www.aerospaceweb.org/question/conspiracy/

Also, I have uploaded copies of the 5 above images, but the file server has been really erratic lately.

EDIT: Related "simulation" thread is at:

I am convinced that some of our recent 'visitors' came here with instructions to discover what information out on the W3 was of value to us in undermining the OCT. Rather than browse through hundreds of posts they decided to ask leading questions to prompt the supply of links so that those sources could be suppressed.

The "Exit-Hole:"

QUOTE
DoD News Briefing on Pentagon Renovation

Saturday, September 15, 2001 - 11:00 a.m. EDT

Also participating were Rear Adm. Craig R. Quigley, deputy assistant
secretary of Defense for Public Affairs and Mr. Terry Mitchell, chief,
Audiovisual Division, OASD (PA).

Mitchell: You can see someone from the Montgomery County unit here.

This pile here is all Pentagon metal. None of that is aircraft whatsoever.
As you can see, they've punched a hole in here. This was punched by
the rescue workers to clean it out. You can see this is the -- some
of the unrenovated areas where the windows have blown out.
