I'm not sure what the original source is on these. Very helpful for me in seeing how some of the pieces are falling from the north tower, though. Every little bit helps. Now I'll have to compare them with other views...

Something that has always puzzled me was the crater in WTC6. Your 2 photos of the large outer wall segment, falling off the north tower made me wonder, if this is not the reason for the severe damage going through the roof + several floors on WTC6. Actually the trajectory of the wall segment seems to be completely in line with the estimated position of WTC6. I have ‘borrowed’ this photo of your’s from - there to underline my question. (IMG:http://www.spazmataz.net/members/photos/all-photos/wtc-gallery2/9_15_pic09.sized.jpg) What do you think? This might be interesting for your discussion with JerryB about J.White’s Studies. In any case I am pretty sure, that these segments have not hit the southwest corner of WTC7 (returning on topic). Also there are no falling debris on any other photos, that would explain a structural damage on WTC 7. Z. |

Z,
You may be right that that debris may have landed on the roof of WTC 6. I thought that was a possibility as well. |

Aman Zafar took some great shots from across the river, ironically, the second best lower south side WTC 7 picture I've seen is from across the Hudson river. Anyway, his whole gallery is worth a look, but a few pics show both the north and south tower collapse as well, so I thought I'd mention them here. I only wish he'd had a better angle of view, as WTC 6 and the Winter garden cut it off at about floor 10 or so. (IMG:http://pilotsfor911truth.org/forum/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
Any other pics taken on 9/11 from that neighborhood would be great to see also. As a for instance- anyone at or near the top of the one of the skyscrapers near the Colgate clock would definitely have some good pics. Compare the images shown below to see what I mean... http://www.amanzafar.com/WTC/index.shtm http://www.amanzafar.com/WTC/wtc65.JPG http://www.amanzafar.com/WTC/wtc66.JPG (IMG:http://www.gagme.com/greg/vacation/2006/newyork/circle24.jpg) (IMG:http://www.amanzafar.com/WTC/wtc38.JPG) (IMG:http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/ee/Jersey_City_Skyline_-_Jan_2006.jpg) This post has been edited by waterdancer: Nov 30 2006, 04:30 AM |
