I've broken down the garbage that is the joint media, police and FBI timeline that has been morphing, twisting and turning throughout the past 2 weeks from Tuesday (the day after the bombing) through to Friday (the day Dzokhar Tsarnaev was arrested).

Tuesday 16 April 23:03pm ET

Police have reportedly searched an apartment in the Boston suburb of Revere, in relation to the Boston Marathon blasts. Massachusetts State Police have confirmed that a search warrant had been issued Monday night, but declined to comment further, according to WBZ-TV.

Tuesday 16 April 12:01pm ET

A person, who briefed on the Boston Marathon investigation and spoke on the condition of anonymity, said that the explosives were hidden in 6-liter pressure cookers and placed in black duffel bags, AP reported. The explosives contained nails, ball bearings and shards of metal, but it is still unclear what was used to trigger them. Some of the bomb components are now in the hands of investigators.

"Those items have been recovered and sent to the FBI’s Laboratory in Quantico, Virginia. There, specialized examiners will reconstruct the device and determine its makeup and components. Among items partially recovered are pieces of black nylon—which could be from a backpack—and what appear to be fragments of BBs and nails possibly contained in a pressure cooker device. We are expediting this blast evidence to our Laboratory in Quantico, Virginia for a complete and thorough analysis."
— Special Agent in Charge Richard DesLauriers of the FBI

"The Saudi National"

BOSTON — The Revere Fire Department Facebook page states the State Police Bomb Techs searched a 364 Ocean Ave. apartment complex Monday for a “person of interest” in connection with the Boston Marathon bombings that killed three and injured 176 people.

However, at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Boston Globe reports that the person of interest is not a suspect in the marathon bombings, according to the Saudi embassy.

Tuesday 16 April 14:28pm ET

Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said earlier Tuesday that NYC police have received 77 reports about suspicious packages in the last 24-hours following the Boston bombing. “In a 24-hour period similar to this a year ago, we had 21 suspicious packages," Kelly pointed out at the press conference held by Mayor Bloomberg and the Police Commissioner.

"Tuesday afternoon" 16 April

Gilberto Junior, 44, the owner of Junior’s Autobody in Somerville on Columbia Road, said Dzhokar A. Tsarnaev had dropped off a white Mercedes station wagon two weeks ago to have the bumper repaired. Junior said he hadn’t yet touched the vehicle when Dzhokar A. Tsarnaev returned Tuesday afternoon demanding the car.

(OSS: Remember this white Mercedes that is never mentioned again)

Wednesday 17 April 10:48am ET

The US Secret Service says a letter with a "suspicious substance" has been sent to President Obama. The letter was received at an off-site location away from the White House and is currently under investigation after being intercepted at a Maryland postal screening center. The FBI says that the letter to the US president has preliminary tested positive for ricin – a highly toxic oil made from castor beans.
The US Senate also received a "suspicious package" on Wednesday, with Capitol Police directing all staff and personnel to avoid are directed to avoid the Atrium of the Hart Senate Office Building. Senators Roger Wicker, Richard Shelby and Carl Levin have also reportedly received suspicious letters on Wednesday.

Sources report that a man with suspicious envelopes in his backpack is being questioned on Capitol Hill.

Wednesday 17 April 12:09pm ET

According to CNN’s sources, surveillance video from a Lord and Taylor department store and a local television station are believed to have helped authorities identify the person sought responsible for Monday’s incident, which US President Barack Obama said on Tuesday is being investigated as an act of terror.

CNN’s King reports from Boston that the video footage helped police narrow in on a person being considered a suspect in the attack “to such detail, I’m told, that they believe they have a clear identification, including a facial image of a suspect.”

The footage, sources say, show the suspect carrying and perhaps placing down a black bag that is thought to have contained a bomb that was detonated at the second of two crime scenes near the finish line of the annual Boston Marathon just before 3 p.m. on Monday.

The mayor of Boston, Massachusetts has confirmed that a suspect was ID’d, and officials are expected to speak to the press at 5 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. According to sources speaking to the Boston Globe, authorities may publicize their findings at that briefing.

(OSS: Whether they "misidentified" or not, they had a facial at this time. A frontal image of at least one person the FBI was forced to admit having contact with. A frontal image of a person whose family claimed the FBI had been on the their radar (or working for) for "3-5 years". Who also claim that the FBI had contacted days after the Boston explosion. A frontal image of somebody Russian Intel had claimed attended the CIA run Jamestown Foundation the year before.)

Wednesday 17 April 12:31pm ET

Boston authorities have developed "solid leads" and are "zeroing in on some people" in the bombing investigation, NBC reports citing its sources.

Wednesday 17 April 12:49pm ET

A suspect in the Boston Marathon Bombing has been arrested, law enforcement official said, AP reports. He is expected in federal court.

Wednesday 17 April 13:23pm ET

The suspect was reportedly on the phone while placing the bomb. Cell records led to his identification, CBS reports.

(OSS: 1. Who exactly was on the phone? 2. Who was he calling?)

Wednesday 17 April 15:25pm ET

US Attorney Carmen Ortiz announced that the press briefing scheduled for 16:00pm has been postponed, citing the bomb scare at Moakley Courthouse. It was not immediately clear if another press conference would be scheduled for Wednesday.

Wednesday 17 April 15:41pm ET

A law enforcement source told the Associated Press that investigators have "an image of a potential suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings but do not have his name." The source came forward on the condition of anonymity but said police found the picture after scouring pictures and video.

"All day Wednesday" 17 April

Eyewitnesses reported that two days after the bombings in Boston, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was training in a gym, visited a party and spent the night in the campus of the University of Massachusetts, where he studied."

"According to The Boston Globe, Dzhokhar spent his Wednesday, just two days after the bombing and one day before the Watertown manhunt that ended in his capture, at his dorm at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. He reportedly worked out, slept and even attended a party on Wednesday evening where a witness thought he seemed “relaxed”.

"All day Wednesday" 17 April

Andrew Glasby told ABC News that Tsarnaev lived one floor above him at the Pine Dale dormitory and he had a conversation with the alleged bomber one full day after the bombing on the campus."

"UMass would only confirm that Tsarnaev was on the campus Wednesday, according to card swipes. Tsarnaev visited the gym and slept in his dorm room Wednesday, according to the school.
Glasby said Tsarnaev, who was often referred to as Jahar, blended right back into normal college life and was "convincing" that nothing was amiss.
"I thought as it was just regular old Jahar. We had a typical conversation, he was not startled, he was not scared, he was not anything. He was just the same old Jahar," Glasby said.
Glasby said that Tsarnaev offered to give him a lift home to Waltham, Mass., on Friday. Tsarnaev described his car as a green Honda Civic, which was the same car police initially said Tsarnaev may have been driving while at-large."

The FBI’s facial-recognition software failed to identify the suspects on the video taken before the bombing, even though the images of both existed in official databases, Boston police commissioner Edward Davis told The Washington Post. The Tsarnaev brothers could have been found in multiple databases, as both had legally immigrated, while Dzhokhar had a driver’s license, and Tamerlan had been the subject of an FBI investigation.

"Two or three days after the bombing"

(OSS: Father of these guys claims that FBI phoned Tamerland Tsarnaev 2 or 3 days after the bombing. Possibly Thursday when the photos were released? Before? Either way, the PR managed nightmare-fest and witch hunt whereby the FBI claimed not to know the identity of the two people in the images they released will be contradicted by the alleged suspects' father.)

The father of the Boston bombing suspects claims to Channel 4 News that the FBI telephoned his elder son after the attack, and prior to a fatal shootout that claimed the life of a police officer.

The father of Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, Anzor, told Channel 4 News that the elder brother had telephoned their mother a few days after the bombings.

Mr Tsarnaev was speaking by telephone to Channel 4 News filmmaker Nick Sturdee, who is in Makhachkala, Dagestan. The father said Tamerlan contacted his mother, Zubeidat Tsarnaeva, two or three days after the bombing.

Tamerlan told her the FBI had just rung him and accused him of being behind the attacks, and that he had responded by saying "that's your problem", Mr Tsarnaev claims.

The telephone call claim raises a number of questions.

If the claim is true, then it raises questions over the FBI handling of the investigation into the Boston bombings.

People will be asking about how the alleged telephone call may have fitted into the chain of events - from the attack itself up to the firefight that took place three days later, in which a police officer, as well as Tamerlan, was killed.

The FBI in Boston told Channel 4 News they currently won't confirm or deny any claims about their involvement.

Thursday April 18

His (Sunik Tripathi) name was allegedly overheard on a police scanner

After three days of investigations, the Boston Police Department has identified one of the Boston Marathon bombing suspects as Ivy League student, Sunil Tripathi.

Tripathi, who is identified by a white cap in the FBI photos released late this week, was a philosophy major at Brown University, not far from Boston. He comes from a well-to-do family; his father is a rich software engineer.

The student went missing last month without a trace. The FBI became involved in the case, even though it was a presumed suicide.

Right before his disappearance, explosives were found near Brown University, however, they were destroyed in a controlled detonation. Police have yet to implicate anyone in the bomb scare.

(OSS: I've searched for this alleged "controlled detonation" near Brown University and came up empty handed.

Recap. Guy who is the double (photographically anyway) of the younger brother "disappears" 4-5 weeks before the attack and an alleged controlled detonation on "explosives" found near his university. And the same guy is publically named by the Boston Police Department as the culprit.)

Sunil Tripathi has since been declared dead.

MIT Campus protocol upheaval after hoax call about "gunman" just a month ago (Feb 28th 2013) - video at link

The hoax caller whose phony tip of a campus gunman brought SWAT officers swarming to MIT last Saturday claimed the shooter was a staff member seeking revenge for the suicide of folk-hero hacker Aaron Swartz, school
officials said.

Thursday 18 April 09:50am ET

US Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano says that the Federal Bureau of Investigation wishes to speak with two men spotted in one of the surveillance video clips of Monday's bombing, but would not go as far as to say that they are suspects in the investigation.

Russell-Tsarnaev has been saying that she never suspected Tamerlan of anything and that nothing prompted her to think he was behaving suspiciously even after the bombings.

Tamerlan would normally stay at home to take care of their daughter while Katherine was away working. Her lawyer says Tsarnaev was home on the day of Tamerlan's death, as his wife had left for work.

(OSS: Where was the daughter while all of this was going on? That is, was Tamerlan Tsarnaev at home when his wife returned from work? At what time?)

Thursday 18 April 16:03pm ET

The FBI briefing in Boston will start in moments. Officials have placed two easels cloaked in black on the stage. Multiple media outlets have reported that the Bureau will release surveillance images of at least one bombing suspect.

Thursday 18 April 16:33pm ET

21:33 GMT: DesLauriers said the Bureau “initially developed a single person of interest” upon identifying a male with a white hat who appeared to put a black bag in front a restaurant at the finish line.

The FBI says suspect No. 2, wearing a white baseball hat, planted his backpack on the street, after which an explosion detonated “within minutes.”

Thursday 18 April 17:20pm ET

The FBI releases images of suspects in the bombings. Suspect One is wearing a black hat and sunglasses, Suspect Two is wearing a white baseball cap.

Thursday 18 April 21:04pm ET

Allegedly, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev last seen on his page in Vkontakte.

Thursday 18 April (allegedly) 22:20pm ET

Reports of a robbery at a 7-11 grocery shop near the Massachusetts Institute of Technology campus in Cambridge.

Authorities said surveillance tape recorded late last night showed Suspect No. 2 during a robbery of a convenience store in Cambridge, near the campus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where university police officer Sean Collier, 26, was shot dead while responding to a report of a disturbance.

"There was a 7-Eleven robbery in Cambridge last night, but it had nothing to do with the Boston Marathon bombing suspects.

Margaret Chabris, the director of corporate communication at 7- Eleven, says the surveillance video of the crime was not taken at a 7-Eleven and that the suspect that did rob the 7-Eleven does not look like Tamerlan or Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

"The suspect in the photos for that particular 7-Eleven robbery looks nothing like the suspects," Chabris says. "The police or someone made a mistake. Someone was confused."

(OSS: Even in the face of this, the media and police were intent on pushing their presence, unsubstanciated, at the 7-11 because it fell in neatly with the MIT cop murder — not to say that the two events weren't connected but that the Tsarnaevs weren't involved in either event)

The suspects were at the 7-Eleven around the time of the robbery but they did not rob the store said, State Police Superintendent Timothy Alban at an evening press conference on Friday.

At an earlier press conference morning, when Alben described the manhunt and standoff that resulted in the death of an MIT police officer, he also said that the two brothers robbed a 7-Eleven.

Chabris says the story of the robbed 7-Eleven was online immediately and spread quickly. She has been calling journalists all day to ask them to make a correction.

(OSS: AFAIK, the location of this surveillance image, nor the time it was taken, hasn't been clarified)

Carjack narrative #1

Released: April 21 10:53pm

An alleged excerpt from the Cambridge Police Report:

About 40 minutes after they allegedly shot and killed a Massachusetts Institute of Technology police officer in Cambridge, Mass., Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the brothers accused of the bombing, crossed the Charles River into Boston and stole a Mercedes SUV at gunpoint, briefly holding the driver hostage, according to an excerpt from the Cambridge Police Department report filed by the driver and reviewed by The Wall Street Journal. The alleged carjacking occurred at about 11 p.m. in Boston's Brighton neighborhood on Brighton Avenue, said the excerpt, which didn't name the victim.

According to the report, one of the brothers jumped out of a Honda Civic and reached in through the front passenger side window of the SUV, opened the door and pointed a silver colored semi-automatic pistol at the driver.

The gunman then ordered him to drive to Watertown and was followed by the Honda, the report said.

Once in Watertown, the victim was ordered to slide over to the passenger side, the report said. The two brothers then removed luggage from the Honda and loaded it into the trunk of the Mercedes, the report said.

From there, one of the brothers drove the Mercedes while the second sat behind the victim, the report said.

The victim told police he was driven to a Shell Gas Station on Memorial Drive in Watertown. Inside the car, the brothers "declared to [the victim] that they were the Boston Marathon bombers and would not kill him because he wasn't American," the report said.

When the victim saw an opportunity to flee, he ran to a nearby gas station where he asked the owner to call 911, the report said.

Carjack narrative #2 - chronology produced by FBI special agent Daniel Genck

Released: April 22

This is the alleged official line regarding the hijacked SUV

Just before midnight, a man is sitting in his car on a road in Cambridge when a man taps on the passenger-side window.

The driver rolls down the window, and the man lets himself into the car, points a firearm and says, "Did you hear about the Boston explosion? ... I did that." He then shows the driver that his gun is loaded.

"I am serious," the man says before forcing the victim to drive to another location where they pick up a second man.

The armed man takes the driver's keys and sits in the driver's seat, while the kidnapped man moves to the passenger seat. The second man enters the back seat, and he and the driver begin talking in a foreign language.

They begin driving, and the man with the gun demands money. He is given $45 but wants more and demands an ATM card and password. They go to an ATM machine, where the men attempt to get money, before going to a gas station, where the captive man escapes.

Police later locate the stolen vehicle in Watertown, a suburb west of the city, and give chase. As they attempt to elude law enforcement, the Tsarnaev brothers throw two small bombs out of the car. A gunfight ensues, and Tamerlan is severely injured and left at the scene, while his brother escapes.

Police later find the car abandoned with an "intact low-grade explosive device" inside. Federal agents recover two more bombs at the site of the shootout. The bombs resemble those used in the marathon bombings. One even utilizes the same brand of pressure cooker.

(OSS: So what happened to the second car, the green Honda Civic? The "three stops" at various ATMs? Did they shoot the MIT cop and split up? Now the driver "escaped".

Still no interview.

Ignore points 1 and 2 - the 7-11 and MIT officer murder.
Look at where the SUV was allegedly hijacked and where the two brothers allegedly shared this vehicle for "half an hour" until the SUV owner's release - points 3 and 4 on the map. So where did they pick up the green Honda Civic that isn't mentioned anywhere in the official chronology of events?)

Carjack (media) narrative #3

(NEWSER) – He might be the luckiest man in Boston today—the guy who got carjacked by the Tsarnaev brothers and lived to tell the tale. Not much is known of him yet, but NBC reports by way of an unnamed source that the brothers admitted to him that they were responsible for the Boston Marathon bombings and had just killed an MIT campus police officer. The brothers took the man's Mercedes SUV and forced him to come along. They reportedly stopped at three ATMS, managing to withdraw $800 using his cash card, before letting him go about a half-hour later at a gas station.

Fox News picks up the story from there with an interview of a clerk at the Cambridge gas station. The carjacking victim, he says, ran in screaming, "Call the police! Call the police! These people are trying to kill me!" The victim looked to be in his early 20s and was unhurt, just badly shaken. "He said they pushed him out of car," the clerk says. "I think he's drunk I don't believe him. ... I only believe him when the cops came."

As for the Mercedes driver, the Los Angeles Times reports that he managed to escape when his captors went into a Shell gas station in Cambridge ... to buy snacks. He ran to another gas station (where he reportedly shouted, "These people are trying to kill me!") to call police, and an officer started quietly following the Mercedes. When the brothers noticed, they stopped and "attempted to get the officer," Davis says. A firefight ensued, Tamerlan Tsarnaev was killed (possibly by his own brother), and the manhunt for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev began.

(OSS: There's visual evidence that there were two cars. The black SUV and a green Honda Civic(?) during the alleged gunfight.

So between the "official narrative" whereby the two brothers allegedly got into the SUV and released the driver "half an hour later", and "an officer started quietly following the Mercedes", again, where does the green Honda Civic come in to it?)

Alleged interview with "carjack victim" (thanks to poster Scooby for digging this out)

More statements from the anonymous hijack victim/witness “Danny” as told by a reporter from the Boston Globe who allegedly interviewed him. The reporters name is Eric Moskowitz. Not sure if the spelling of his name is correct because they don’t list it on the interview.

(NARRATOR) - At 10:20 pm an MIT police officer is found dead in his patrol car. Just blocks away around 11:00 pm a 26 year old Chinese entrepreneur living in Boston is carjacked at gunpoint in his Mercedes SUV by two men claiming to be the Boston bombers.

(Cut to MOSKOWITZ) – along the way he hears them talk about Manhattan - they ask him about whether his car would go to New York.

(Cut to NARRATOR) – the suspects stop at an ATM and force Danny to withdraw $800 cash using the hostages bank card and password. Back in the car the victim’s cell phone rings. Its his roommate asking where he is.

(CUT TO MOSKOWITZ) - Tamerlan says – “you know, pick up the phone and if you say anything in Chinese I’ll kill you”. Because if you speak any Chinese he may be calling for help. In route to the expressway they make a crucial stop. Heading towards interstate 95 they realize they need gas. They pull up to a gas station on the Charles River in Cambridge. The younger brother gets out with Danny’s credit card to get gas. Moments later he knocks on the window and says “cash only”. He then has to go into the food mart. That leaves just Danny and the older brother in the front two seats. The older brother has for some reason the gun down in the pocket and is fiddling with the GPS. And Danny realizes that’s his time.

(CUT BACK TO NARRATOR) – While one brother is inside paying for the gas the carjacking victim bolts from the SUV sprinting to the gas station across the street.

(OSS: 1. Is this the same mobile phone that the police allegedly tracked the SUV with? 2. Was the phone on his person or on the dash? 3. Did he hang it up and replace it on the dashboard or did he put it in his pocket?)

I'm not lending any credence to this. These are the type of questions that need to be asked.

"Cambridge Police told The Times that the Mercedes driver escaped when the brothers went inside a Shell gas station on Memorial Drive in Cambridge to buy snacks.

The unidentified driver fled to another gas station to call police."

Thursday 18 April 22:45pm ET

Sean Collier, a campus police officer, is found shot in his car. Police say the suspects car-jack a black Mercedes four-wheel drive and release the owner unharmed at a filling station. The Mercedes is tracked to the Watertown suburb eight miles west of central Boston.

Thursday 18 April 23:30pm ET

Live Report at 11:32pm

(OSS: Claims of hearing EMS scanner that the MIT officer had his gun stolen from him. The shots fired were reported by "MIT Emergency" at 11:11pm.

"Maybe work of suspects fleeing from a robbery")

(OSS: "Gunshots heard about 10:48 this evening")

Friday 19 April "00:30am"

"Watertown police chief recounts violent standoff with bombing suspects"

(OSS: "Joe Reynolds" "Brothers in two different cars" - "6 officers in gunfight with them" - "after midnight - 12:30am" - "Timmy Mitten EMT" - "transit officer behind these 6 police officers and got wounded")

Tamerlan Tsarnaev and his brother Dzhokhar were in two cars, following each other closely.

Reynolds called it in.

Do not engage, the dispatcher told him. Not on your own.

The brothers pulled over. So did Reynolds. He didn’t know it, but he was about to interrupt the two as they tried, police believe, to transfer their crude, homemade explosives from one vehicle to another.

As Reynolds waited for backup, it felt like hours, but it was only minutes and that backup, in the form of Sergeant John MacLellan, was speeding up the street just as the Tsarnaevs turned and at least one of them opened up on Joe Reynolds. Reynolds threw his cruiser into reverse and sped backwards. He and MacLellan got out and began returning fire.

(OSS: Reynolds said that he reversed.
I call complete bullshit on the next segment which has been edited in recently by the media after the release of images during this period where the alleged witness who took the photos snapped an SUV which had hit his drive and was mentioned nowhere in the official narrative)

"Watertown police Sergeant Jeff Pugliese was on his way home after his shift ended, but he heard the frantic calls for backup and sped toward the scene.

MacLellan then ingeniously let his car roll, unoccupied, toward the two men. It drew fire, and every bullet fired into the car was one less bullet that could be used on a cop."

(OSS: "let his car roll" up an incline hundreds of metres away from the cops' position!)

During the alleged shootout, notice the SUV just in frame at the bottom of the image that had crashed into the witness' drive:

After the "shootout", a better view of the same SUV:

The distance of the cops' position from the alleged suspects and the street where the media quotes the "unoccupied car roll"

Friday 19 April 01:00am ET

Gunfire and explosions are heard in Watertown. The suspects throw explosives and exchange gunfire with police. One suspect is wounded, and a policeman is seriously injured. The other suspect escapes capture. The wounded suspect is taken to Beth Israel Deaconess medical centre where he dies from "multiple traumatic injuries" . Public transport is shut down and residents of several neighbourhoods are told to stay inside and not open their doors.

Friday 19 April 01:34am ET

(OSS: The filmed arrests of two people in Watertown, around the time of the alleged "gunfight", during which one was stripped naked and the other was face down on the ground. The latter was filmed at 01:34am according to live footage.

One was said to actually been Tamerlan Tsarnaev, or somebody very similar in appearance.

No further details have been released.

Friday 19 April 01:35am ET

"The first suspect was brought in with "traumatic arrest" under police guard and was pronounced dead at 1:35am ET - Beth Israel Hospital

- Cause of death of shot suspect: numerous gunshot wounds and blast injury"

Friday 19 April 02:09am ET

"Police dispatch described the suspect as a 5'11" 200lb "dark skinned white male" wearing a black top, making a getaway "on foot in unknown direction".

Friday 19 April 03:08am ET

"One suspect dead, the other remains at large and is identified as wearing a white hat, armed and dangerous" – Boston Police Commissioner.

(OSS: 1. 7-11 image showed him wearing a hooded top. 2. The claim was made that the "white hat" was found in Dzokhar Tsarnaev's college apartment...

Affidavit by FBI

"On April 21, 2013, the FBI searched DZHOKHAR TSARNAEV's dormitory room at 7341 Pine Dale Hall at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, pursuant to a search warrant. The FBI seized from his room, among other things, a large pyrotechnic, a black jacket and a white hat of the same general appearance as those worn by Bomber Two at the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013, and BBs."

Friday 19 April 03:22am ET

"Second suspect is identified as light-skinned, Caucasian male – Boston police."

(OSS: As opposed to "dark skinned white male" an hour before.)

Friday 19 April 05:22am ET

"Police have reportedly detained 3 people in Watertown: "We got him - he's in custody right now – police dispatch."

(OSS: Who's "him"?)

Friday 19 April 07:43am ET

"Armored vehicles and law enforcement officers gathering near Watertown, Mass. home. Officers yelling, "Come out!" News Breaker reported."

Bomb disposal image (Friday 19 April ET 07:23am)

Friday 19 April 07:46am ET

"Police getting ready to storm house, suspect possibly inside."

(OSS: What? They haven't been to or been staking out the alleged HQ of these "masterminds"?)

Friday 19 April 08:30am ET

"Police formally identify the suspects as brothers Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26 (Suspect One), who died in hospital, and Dzhokhar Tsarnev, 19 (Suspect Two), who remains at large."

Friday 19 April 10:20am ET

Connecticut State Police says it is seeking a vehicle that could be occupied by a person possibly linked to the Boston bombing.

(OSS: Remember that the two alleged vehicles were left at the scene of the "gunfight")

Friday 19 April 10:22am ET

Police are seeking a "1999 Honda CRV with Massachusetts plate: 316-ES9. Color - Gray. Possible suspect car. Do not approach."

(OSS: 1. Dzokhar Tsarnaev was said by a witness — a dorm neighbour —to have a green Honda Civic 2. It was said to have a different registration — 116 GC7)

Friday 19 April 10:30am ET

A Connecticut State Police spokesman says the vehicle in question has been located in the Boston area. The car was registered to the older brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev.

Friday 19 April 11:09am ET

FBI is looking for third suspect in Boston Marathon bombing, NBC reports.

Friday 19 April 14:24pm ET

FBI says the bombing suspect may be driving a 4-door, green 1999 Honda Civic with Massachusetts plates: 116GC7

(OSS: Why did the FBI put out an APB on this car when it is allegedly photographed in the "gunfight" earlier that morning and is part and parcel of the official stance on the "gunfight" — Dzokhar Tsarnaev allegedly escaped on foot)

Remember, the alleged SUV hijacking story neglected to mention the green Honda Civic. It was later grafted in to the narrative through the media and police.

Not forgetting the "white Mercedes" that was allegedly taken from the garage "in a hurry" and the grey Honda CRV.

Friday 19 April 16:46pm ET

No explosives were found on Norfolk Street in Cambridge where the suspects lived. As such, no “controlled explosion” will be necessary, state police told the Boston Globe.

Friday 19 April 17:41

State Police have warned residents that they will do a controlled explosion of items found in Norfolk Street in Cambridge where the Boston bombing suspects lived.

Friday 19 April 17:50 PM

CAMBRIDGE - The “controlled explosions” that bomb technicians had planned to conduct on Norfolk Street near Inman Square were not necessary, according to the State Police. Authorities had been concerned that a car near the home where the brothers suspected of being the Boston Marathon bombers had recently lived contained an explosive, but it did not, according to state police.

(OSS: 1. Well, were there "controlled explosions" or not? It appears not.
2. Was this car the white Mercedes station wagon that Dzokhar Trarnaev was so "anxious" to retrieve on Tuesday 16th April according to the garage owner?)

The scene was declared to be “clear” around 5 p.m. Police would not comment on whether any thing was found in the brothers’ home.

Earlier in the afternoon, State Police Colonel Timothy Alben told reporters that the planned explosions by bomb disposal technicians were meant to protect the law enforcement officials searching through the residence and neighborhood where Dzhokar A. Tsarnaev and his older brother, Tamerlan were residents.

(OSS: So the "planned explosions" didn't take place. Okay.)

Authorities closed off Norfolk Street between Cambridge and Webster streets near Inman Square early Friday morning, and police escorted residents from their homes and scoured the area around the suspects’ apartment.

(OSS: So "early Friday morning", 12 hours minimum after the FBI had released photos and "videos" of alleged suspects, they moved in on their shared apartment.)

Contrary to earlier reports, police now say they did find pipe bombs inside the Boston Marathon bombing suspects’ home, according to John Miller of CBS News. A bomb squad also found IEDs along the chase route Thursday night. There was “meant to be a controlled detonation” of the explosives found at their residence.

(OSS: Quite the ommission. Remember that no controlled detonations were carried out

Saturday 20 April 03:13am ET

Massachusetts police have found seven explosive devices, allegedly made by the Tsarnaev brothers, NBC news reported. The devices were discovered in Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s flat in the town of Cambridge, and in Watertown.

(OSS: "meant to be a controlled detonation"? — See reports from less than an hour before @Friday 19 April 17:50 PM)

These images were allegedly taken just 24 hours after the "raid" on the apartment of these alleged masterminds who were accused of not only the Boston bombing, but of having had multiple home-made pipe bombs and more pressure cooker bombs which were allegedly found in the street, in their vehicles, thrown at police and in this very apartment. Yet no controlled explosions were carried out.

Does this place look like it was painstakingly checked out?

Notice the piece of luggage in a cardboard box that hasn't been touched:

They knew there was no risk of "booby traps" here much less the belated revelation that even though there were no controlled explosions and that the media had access within hours, that "pipe bombs" were found. Bull Shit.
