Great thread, JDX. Music is inspirational to me. Here's another Rush song that I think says it all.

And the men who hold high places
Must be the ones to start
To mould a new reality
Closer to the Heart

The Blacksmith and the Artist
Reflect it in their art
Forge their creativity
Closer to the Heart

Philosophers and Ploughmen
Each must know his part
To sow a new mentality
Closer to the Heart

You can be the Captain
I will draw the Chart
Sailing into destiny
Closer to the Heart

Yeah, Seal, Crazy, that's it. Thanks. thumbsup.gif

Been a little crazy all my life so I relate.

But we're never gonna survive unless, we get a little crazy.. crazy..
No we're never gonna to survive unless we are a little... crazy..
But we're never gonna survive unless, we get a little crazy.. crazy..
No we're never gonna to survive unless, we are a little.. crazy..
No no, never survive unless, we get a little bit...

And then you see things
The size
Of which you've never known before

They'll break it

Someday...

Love Billy Joel. I have all of his "albums" and the CD replacements. I met the dude in Calgary or Edmonston back in the summer of '76 at a large hotel he was playing at. I didn't know who the hell he was, and he damned sure didn't know me. By the time I shook his hand he was FUBAR on cocktails. Played several of what were to be mega hits by him. "New York State of Mind" was one of the songs he played in the huge hotel bar. Me and the Texan I was with thought the boy had talent. We was right. I've seen him a couple more times in concert after he attained major celebrity status. Fantastic concerts. If he comes to your town, I highly recommend you get you sh*t together and attend.

Into the distance, a ribbon of black
Stretched to the point of no turning back
A flight of fancy on a windswept field
Standing alone my senses reeled
A fatal attraction holding me fast, how
Can I escape this irresistible grasp?

Cant keep my eyes from the circling skies
Tongue-tied and twisted just an earth-bound misfit, i

Ice is forming on the tips of my wings
Unheeded warnings, I thought I thought of everything
No navigator to guide my way home
Unladened, empty and turned to stone

A soul in tension thats learning to fly
Condition grounded but determined to try
Cant keep my eyes from the circling skies
Tongue-tied and twisted just an earth-bound misfit, i

Friction lock - set.
Mixture - rich
Propellers - fully forward
Flaps - set - 10 degrees
Engine gauges and suction - check

Mixture set to maximum percent - recheck
Flight instruments...
Altimeters - check both
(garbled word) - on
Navigation lights - on
Strobes - on
(to tower): confirm 3-8-echo ready for departure
(tower): hello again, this is now 129.4
(to tower): 129.4. its to go.
(tower): you may commence your takeoff, winds over 10 knots.
(to tower): 3-8-echo
Easy on the brakes. take it easy. its gonna roll this time.
Just hand the power gradually, and it...

Above the planet on a wing and a prayer,
My grubby halo, a vapour trail in the empty air,
Across the clouds I see my shadow fly
Out of the corner of my watering eye
A dream unthreatened by the morning light
Could blow this soul right through the roof of the night

Theres no sensation to compare with this
Suspended animation, a state of bliss
Cant keep my eyes from the circling skies
Tongue-tied and twisted just an earth-bound misfit, i

I've been on the cover of the Rolling Stone
I met the president when I was half stoned
I been so high I've gotten confused
I been beat down, broke and used

I drank with hank, talked blues with Billy
Rocked with Run sang with shotgun Willy
Went from small time philly to big time Bobby
From 3 day old chili to saki with wosabi

I'm home hey I'm home
You never met a motherfucker quite like me
Not like me, dida dada like me, hey like me

No more bein' poured drink specials at winners
Or being ignored by the think straight sinners
I used to smoke pinners while my moms made dinner
Now I smoke bombs and rock with Lynyrd skynyrd
No beginners here I'm a seasoned vet
Educated on jazz by my man Amed
Heard again my friend I been the world n back
But I'm Michigan boy can you feel that

And I'm home
You never met a motherfucker quite like me
Not like me, God damn like me, hey hey like me

Never thought I'd go as far in life as this
Never made par and I could give 2 shits
Never wanted sell cars cause my dad was a dick

Never wanted a guitar 'till I heard a lick like this

And from the depths of dixie to my northern spots
You know its time to rock when ole glory drops

I pimp through town with the top laid back
Black hat, fine blonde, cold pabst in my lap
I'll adapt
To any and all situations

Thats why the call me the pimp of the nation
Hey bitch you best believe I live in the woods not your world of greed Might, a little weed might a little yeah
I'm so proud to be living in the USA

You've never met a motherfucker quite like me
Hey hey like me, da di da da stay like me, hey hey hey like me
You aint ever met and you aint never going meet
You never met a ,never met a ,never never never never met a

Drive it on up and let's cruise a while
Leave 'em very far behind
You can hedge your bet on a clean corvette
To get you there right on time
Now if you're ready to dive into overdrive
Baby the green lights are on
It's like you're runnin away on some high octane
Every time she reached the boulevard

Won't you take a ride, ride, ride
On heavy metal
It's the only way that you can travel
Down that road
Satisfied, fied, fied
On heavy metal
Baby won't you ride
Ride it until it explodes
Heavy Metal

My oh my how this lady can fly
Once she starts rollin' to leave you
You know you just can't lose the way she moves
You wait for her to finally release you
It's not a big surprise to feel your temperature rise
You've gotta get your redline fever
'Cause there is just on cure that they know for sure
You just become a heavy metal believer

Won't you take a ride, ride, ride
On heavy metal
It's the only way that you can travel
Down that road
Satisfied, fied, fied
On heavy metal
Baby won't you ride
Ride it until it explodes
Heavy Metal

"Woe to you, Oh Earth and Sea, for the Devil sends the
beast with wrath, because he knows the time is short...
Let him who hath understanding reckon the number of the
beast for it is a human number, its number is Six hundred and
sixty six."

I left alone my mind was blank
I needed time to think to get the memories from my mind

What did I see can I believe that what I saw
that night was real and not just fantasy

Just what I saw in my old dreams were they
reflections of my warped mind staring back at me

'Cos in my dream it's always there the evil face that twists my mind
and brings me to despair

The night was black was no use holding back
'Cos I just had to see was someone watching me
In the mist dark figures move and twist
Was this all for real or some kind of hell
666 the number of the beast
Hell and fire was spawned to be released

Torches blazed and sacred chants were praised
As they start to cry hands held to the sky
In the night the fires burning bright
The ritual has begun Satan's work is done
666 the number of the beast
Sacrifice is going on tonight

This can't go on I must inform the law
Can this still be real or just some crazy dream
But I feel drawn towards the evil chanting hordes
They seem to mesmerise me ... can't avoid their eyes
666 the number of the beast
666 the one for you and me

I'm coming back I will return
And I'll possess your body and I'll make you burn
I have the fire I have the force
I have the power to make my evil take it's course

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6AvHAdXz3A

Hear the rime of the ancient mariner
See his eye as he stops one of three
Mesmerises one of the wedding guests
Stay here and listen to the nightmares of the sea.

And the music plays on, as the bride passes by
Caught by his spell and the mariner tells his tale.

Driven south to the land of the snow and ice
To a place where nobodys been
Through the snow fog flies on the albatross
Hailed in gods name, hoping good luck it brings.

And the ship sails on, back to the north
Through the fog and ice and the albatross follows on.

The mariner kills the bird of good omen
His shipmates cry against what hes done
But when the fog clears, they justify him
And make themselves a part of the crime.

Sailing on and on and north across the sea
Sailing on and on and north til all is calm.

The albatross begins with its vengeance
A terrible curse a thirst has begun
His shipmates blame bad luck on the mariner
About his neck, the dead bird is hung.

And the curse goes on and on at sea
And the curse goes on and on for them and me.

day after day, day after day,
We stuck nor breath nor motion
As idle as a painted ship upon a painted ocean
Water, water everywhere and
All the boards did shrink
Water, water everywhere nor any drop to drink.

There calls the mariner
There comes a ship over the line
But how can she sail with no wind in her sails and no tide.

See...onward she comes
Onward she nears out of the sun
See, she has no crew
She has no life, wait but heres two.

Death and she life in death,
They throw their dice for the crew
She wins the mariner and he belongs to her now.
Then...crew one by one
They drop down dead, two hundred men
She...she, life in death.
She lets him live, her chosen one.

one after one by the star dogged moon,
Too quick for groan or sigh
Each turned his facce with a ghastly pang
And cursed me with his eye
Four times fifty living men
(and I heard nor sigh nor groan)
With heavy thump, a lifeless lump,
They dropped down one by one.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVFbdnpvAXg

The curse it lives on in their eyes
The mariner wished hed die
Along with the sea creatures
But they lived on, so did he.

And by the light of the moon
He prays for their beauty not doom
With heart he blesses them
Gods creatures all of them too.

Then the spell starts to break
The albatross falls from his neck
Sinks down like lead into the sea
Then down in falls comes the rain.

Hear the groans of the long dead seamen
See them stir and they start to rise
Bodies lifted by good spirits
None of them speak and theyre lifelesss in their eyes

And revenge is still sought, penance starts again
Cast into a trance and the nightmare carries on.

Now the curse is finally lifted
And the mariner sights his home
Spirits go fromhe long dead bodies
Form their own light and the mariners left alone.

And then a boat came sailing towards him
It was a joy he could not believe
The pilots boat, his son and the hermit,
Penance of life will fall onto him.

And the ship sinks like lead into the sea
And the hermit shrieves the mariner of his sins.

The mariners bound to tell of his story
To tell this tale wherever he goes
To teach gods word by his own example
That we must love all things thaat God made.

And the wedding guests a sad and wiser man
And the tale goes on and on and on.

About the JFK assassination clip.
The driver didn't shoot kennedy.
If you look closer you will see that the drivers "arm" that holds the "Gun" is actually the edge of the road and the "gun" is the sun reflecting from the passengers head.
Just look at the passengers head, rewind and then look at the edge of the road.

Jeff Beck at Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival last summer.

Still innovating at the top of his game - and bassplayer Tal has only been playing 4 years. Stunning stuff.

My apologies, Sanders. I watched it last night and really liked it but didn't say anything. It was in the wee hours of the morning for me and it had been a long day.

I like it very much. Great rhythm and percussion. I don't really know anything about music, as is so commonly said about art, I just know what I like. It has a very passionate, driving persistence through the 'fallen angel/bird' / 'resurrection, redemption, phoenix from the ashes' theme. The young lady is stunningly beautiful and I like the overall mix of music, live action and animation. Cudos! and again my apology for not commenting sooner! handsdown.gif

Very nice work Sanders.

Is Olivia singing in Japanese for a mostly-French audience then? I did detect some English chorus lines, but I am better with Spanish, Italian, and Latin (and that far from a 100% thing) than with French. It also has some esoteric references if I am not mistaken. Quite artistic photography and composition.

Twisted Sister- Burn In Hell

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QL3C_eAtlS0

http://www.stlyrics.com/songs/t/twistedsister3980/yougonnaburninhelltwistedsister351407.html

Welcome to the abandoned land
Come on in, child; Take my hand
Here there's no work or play
Only one bill to pay
There's just five words to say
As you go down, down, down

You're gonna Burn in Hell
Oh, Burn in Hell

You can't believe all the things I've done wrong in my life
Without even trying I've lived on the Edge of a Knife
Well, I've played with fire, but I don't want to get myself burned
To thyn known self be true, so I think that it's time for a change

Before I Burn in Hell
Oh, Burn in Hell

Take a good look in your heart; Tell me what do you see ?
It's black and it's dark, now is that how you want it to be ?
It's up to you; What you do will decide your own fate
Make your choice now for tomorrow may be far too late

Hear no Evil, don't you
See no Evil, don't you
Lay no Evil down on me
Speak no Evil, don't you
Think no Evil don't you
Play with Evil, 'cause I'm free.

And then you'll Burn in Hell

[REPEAT CHORUS/FADE]

A Rush fan's worst nightmare.

Yes, OF- that was pretty damned horrible. But RUSH was experimenting at a time when damn few bands dared stray beyond the "confines" of their record producers' yard(s). I heard rock, jazz, a little punk, fusion, etc. all mixed in there (possibly with some help from Professor Nutbutter...). This later became something known as "ska" as near as I can trace.

That 1980s trainwreck likely was the direct inspiration for such things as:

Great job on the parody whom ever made that.

I think the Bee Gees made it themselves. However, Maurice Gibb died in January 2003, so they must have made it without him, and the lyrics were obviously written much more recently. The new lyrics sound exactly like the voices of Barry and Robin. Maybe it is possible with the new technologies to fake their voices.

Steve Earle
Copperhead Road
Extended Intro

Well my name's John Lee Pettimore
Same as my daddy and his daddy before
You hardly ever saw Grandaddy down here
He only came to town about twice a year
He'd buy a hundred pounds of yeast and some copper line
Everybody knew that he made moonshine
Now the revenue man wanted Grandaddy bad
He headed up the holler with everything he had
It's before my time but I've been told
He never came back from Copperhead Road

Now Daddy ran the whiskey in a big block Dodge
Bought it at an auction at the Mason's Lodge
Johnson County Sheriff painted on the side
Just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside
Well him and my uncle tore that engine down
I still remember that rumblin' sound
Well the sheriff came around in the middle of the night
Heard mama cryin', knew something wasn't right
He was headed down to Knoxville with the weekly load
You could smell the whiskey burnin' down Copperhead Road

I volunteered for the Army on my birthday
They draft the white trash first,'round here anyway
I done two tours of duty in Vietnam
And I came home with a brand new plan
I take the seed from Colombia and Mexico
I plant it up the holler down Copperhead Road
Well the D.E.A.'s got a chopper in the air
I wake up screaming like I'm back over there
I learned a thing or two from ol' Charlie don't you know
You better stay away from Copperhead Road

Copperhead Road
Copperhead Road

This has been my theme song...

Brimstone fire, lava ground, the warriors no fear no death, nor any form of terror, pagan did mistake now make, they'll be a sorry them made an error, war them a study yes, so them deal with it bloody yes, gun dog and gun drunker are them send threat, they said senseless killing are them hobby yes, find out said a war them a study yes.. so them deal with it bloody yes, battlefield could be slippery or muddy yes, deal with them rash because them love the mess. They upon the lava ground..

Enough will look to see I maga down(skinny as a toothpick), I ain't gonna worry, true them have a gun, tell them say the warriors not gone run.

Ice through the fire, don't care how hot it is, I no weak heart, burn back at it. I saw the positive, wake up and live, enough of them a hype about machines, we're uncommon, some think we're bigger than the damn canyon. The lightning will burn them and them gang, with one hand leave them headless, no foot to stand on, Lava Ground..

Heights over all and never fall, standing tall while pagan a crawl. Find piece of rope and go hang Saul, grab the oil and take them just to bounce against the wall. How you gonna diss the ras(prince), with no fear, no mask, fast you have to crash. The hotter lava splash, them got the oil a dash, to make against the lass.

Revolution in the streets
Our vision turned into reality
Too late to stop it now
A spark that's lit a fire burning high

It's time to take a stand
Stand up for your rights and beliefs
Together we'll be strong - we're gonna fight them all
We got the power - to turn the world around

It's all or nothing - and we don't stop fighting
All or nothing - and we won't back down
It's all or nothing - we can light a fire
All or nothing - we will take it all

No matter what you are
No matter where you're from and where you go
There's a place for all of you
Side by side - we can only win

No turning back the time
The force is growing day by day
No wall is high enough - no chain too strong
We got the power - to double back around

It's all or nothing - and we don't stop fighting
All or nothing - and we won't back down
It's all or nothing - we can strike a fire
All or nothing - we will take it all - we will take it all

It's all or nothing - let us break the silence
All or nothing - we will shout it out
It's all or nothing - so we'll strike a fire
All or nothing

It's all or nothing - and we don't stop dreaming
All or nothing - and we won't back down
It's all or nothing - we won't stop believing
All or nothing - we will take it all - we will have it all

Broken Lungs, by Thrice

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpcztjgaiWM

Woke up to a brand new skyline
We licked our wounds and mourn the dead
Swallow the story hook and sinker
Is that what we meant when we said
That we never would forget?

Are we fools and cowards all
To let them cover up their lies?
Cause we all watched the buildings fall
Watched the scales fall from our eyes

A fire burns beneath Manhattan
Still we breathe with broken lungs
We act like none of this matters
Is that what we meant When we said
That we'd sing what must be sung?

Are we fools and cowards all
To let them cover up their lies?
Cause we all watched the buildings fall
Watched the scales fall from our eyes

We want justice
Scream from the roof
We want justice
We want the truth

We Fih'rd Our Guns!

In 1814 we took a little trip
Along with Colonel Jackson down the mighty Mississip.
We took a little bacon and we took a little beans
And we caught the bloody British in the town of New Orleans.

[Chorus:]
We fired our guns and the British kept a'comin.
There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago.
We fired once more and they began to runnin' on
Down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico.

We looked down the river and we see'd the British come.
And there must have been a hundred of'em beatin' on the drum.
They stepped so high and they made the bugles ring.
We stood by our cotton bales and didn't say a thing.

[Chorus]

Old Hickory said we could take 'em by surprise
If we didn't fire our muskets 'til we looked 'em in the eye
We held our fire 'til we see'd their faces well.
Then we opened up with squirrel guns and really gave 'em ... well

[Chorus]

Yeah, they ran through the briars and they ran through the brambles
And they ran through the bushes where a rabbit couldn't go.
They ran so fast that the hounds couldn't catch 'em
Down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico.**

We fired our cannon 'til the barrel melted down.
So we grabbed an alligator and we fought another round.
We filled his head with cannon balls, and powdered his behind
And when we touched the powder off, the gator lost his mind.

[Chorus]

Yeah, they ran through the briars and they ran through the brambles
And they ran through the bushes where a rabbit couldn't go.
They ran so fast that the hounds couldn't catch 'em
Down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico.**

ahhh... it's good to be in the South... wink.gif

Mr. Crowley, what went down in your head
(Oh) Mr. Crowley, did you talk to the dead
Your lifestyle to me seemed so tragic
With the thrill of it all
You fooled all those people with magic
(Yeah)You waited on Satan's call

Mr. Charming, did you think you were pure
Mr. Alarming, in nocturnal rapport
Uncovering things that were sacred, manifest on this earth
(Oh)Conceived in the eye of a secret
Yeah, they scattered the afterbirth

Solo

Mr. Crowley, won't you ride my white horse?
Mr. Crowley, it's symbolic of course
Approaching a time that is classic
I hear that maidens call
Approaching a time that is drastic
Standing with their backs to the wall

(Solo)

Was it polemically sent?
I wanna know what you meant
I wanna know
I wanna know what you meant, yeah!

(Solo)

(It starts with)
One thing / I donít know why
It doesnít even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind / I designed this rhyme
To explain in due time
All I know
time is a valuable thing
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings
Watch it count down to the end of the day
The clock ticks life away
Itís so unreal
Didnít look out below
Watch the time go right out the window
Trying to hold on / but didnít even know
Wasted it all just to
Watch you go
I kept everything inside and even though I tried / it all fell apart
What it meant to me / will eventually / be a memory / of a time when I tried so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesn't even matter
I had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesn't even matter
One thing / I donít know why
It doesnít even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind / I designed this rhyme
To remind myself how
I tried so hard
In spite of the way you were mocking me
Acting like I was part of your property
Remembering all the times you fought with me
Iím surprised it got so (far)
Things arenít the way they were before
You wouldnít even recognize me anymore
Not that you knew me back then
But it all comes back to me
In the end
You kept everything inside and even though I tried / it all fell apart
What it meant to me / will eventually / be a memory / of a time when I tried so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesnít even matter
I had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesnít even matter
I've put my trust in you
Pushed as far as I can go
For all this
Thereís only one thing you should know
I've put my trust in you
Pushed as far as I can go
For all this
Thereís only one thing you should know
I tried so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesnít even matter
I had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesnít even matter

(Viva La Vida - Coldplay)

I used to rule the world
Seas would rise when I gave the word
Now in the morning I sleep alone
Sweep the streets I used to own
I used to roll the dice
Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes
Listen as the crowd would sing:
"Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!"
One minute I held the key
Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt, and pillars of sand

I hear Jerusalem bells are ringing
Roman Catholic choirs are singing
Be my mirror my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
Once you go there was never, never an honest word
That was when I ruled the world

It was the wicked and wild wind
Blew down the doors to let me in.
Shattered windows and the sound of drums
People couldn't believe what I'd become
Revolutionaries Wait
For my head on a silver plate
Just a puppet on a lonely string
Oh who would ever want to be king?

I hear Jerusalem bells are ringing
Roman Catholic choirs are singing
Be my mirror my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
I know Saint Peter won't call my name
Never an honest word
But that was when I ruled the world

(Ooooh Oooh Oooh)

Hear Jerusalem bells are ringing
Roman Catholic choirs are singing
Be my mirror my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
I know Saint Peter will call my name
Never an honest word
But that was when I ruled the world

I've been looking for these three songs as music videos.
APPARENTLY, they don't exist on youtube. Figures.
But -- LUCKY YOU! -- I've created an MP3 file for you all! WOO HOOO!
I here-by dedicate this medley to our long lost hero GRIZ!

1: "HOMO" by Wretch Like Me

QUOTE

I'm not a fag
(He's not a fag)
It's not my bag
(It's not his bag)
But just because its not for me
Doesn't mean its not for anybody
And now I'm going to tell you what I think

[chorus]
There's a little homo in all of us
And its just dying to get out

There's a little homo in all of us
Like when you're wandering with your friends
And you go to give that guy a hug
And it lasts a little bit longer
A little bit longer than it should

[chorus]

There's a little homo in all of us
Doesn't mean you're gona suck on some guys dick
But the idea of it doesn't have to make you sick
Or get all angry or sad -- or embarrassed
There's a little homo in all of us
And it's just dying to get out

[chorus]
There's a little homo in all of us
There's a little homo in all of us
Everybody
There's a little homo in all of us
In you!
There's a little homo in all of us
In me!
Take me home!
There's a little homo in all of us
There's a little homo in all of us
And it's just dying to get out
[refrain]!

2: "HOMO" by The Queers
QUOTE
The girl's always giving him sh*t
'Cause he like da banana split.
She's always calling him names, and
He'd like to be doing the same

Life's not fair; are you aware?
I can't spell it out like Dr. Frank - who cares?

He's wearing lavender pants.
The boy's just dying to dance.
The girl's always making him cry,
And we're all wondering why.

Life's not fair; are you aware?
Are you aware
Be proud of who you are and don't be scared.

You're a homo
You're a homo
You're a homo and everybody knows.

Life's not fair; are you aware?
Are you aware
Be proud of who you are and don't be scared.

You're a homo
You're a homo
You're a homo and everybody knows.

[refrain]

3: "I'm the Boy for You" by The Queers

QUOTE
Killin time cos you're on my mind
And there's nothing I can do
Turn away, I hold no sway
Cos you don't know it's true
A boy like me don't rate a second glance
My words I ain't mincin
If you need convincin
But if you give me half a chance
You'll see

Walk around this stupid town
Waste my days away
I wanna shout
Just hear me out
This is what I say

A boy like me don't rate a second glance
My words I ain't mincin
If you need convincin
But if you give me half a chance
You'll see

I'm the boy for you
I'm the boy for you
I'm the boy for you
I'm the boy for you

I know they talk about us
I know just what they say
Someday they'll talk about us
In a brand new way

How bout tonight
I'll hold you tight
Watch the stars go by
Make a wish
Get a kiss
Give this love a try

I'm the boy for you
I'm the boy for you
I'm the boy for you
I'm the boy for you

Yes its true I'm the boy for you
Yes its true I'm the boy for you
Yes its true I'm the boy for you
[refrain]

Glad i was able to find it tonight... err.. this morning.

Great song, great group :-). I first head them when I was 21 I think, and I liked them so much it's one of the only cds I've ever bought :-). It's been a long time since I've heard them, nice to be reminded of those times. Reminded me of this one from them, perhaps my favourite one:

Probably the best lyrics surrounding the cover-up theme; as if written just for "Them"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvacMXVbrpA

Interesting. After you brought this up, I thought of another video from the same group, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Om6yprTqeKE&feature=channel. I just realized that the staging of the event in the video could possibly be a very subtle way of bringing it up, but regardless of whether or not it was intended that way, it can certainly be seen that way, although admittedly the lyrics alone don't lend themselves so easily to this. The lyrics speak to me on so many levels though...
