Topic Introduction
The Topic of the Middle East is not easily separated from the Palestinian problem - but topics have to be organized somehow, and there is an "Israel" topic to host materials dealing with Israel's relationship with the Palestinians. Any Middle East issues that AREN'T directly related to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict (with the exception of Iraq and Iran, they have their own threads as well), will locate here. You might be thinking, um, "with the exception of Iraq, Iran, & the Israeli-Palestinian problem, what's left??" A lot. Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt & the little mini-revolution bubbling just under the surface over there, the conflict between Hezbollah and Israel, between Lebanon and Hezbollah, between Syria and Lebanon... We'll try and make some sense out of it all - |
