Look at the undertones here.

"they know what every patriot and every American is
doing and saying on their phones."

Seems like a possible scare tactic to me. There is no possible
way for them to do that, due to shear numbers. Maybe its
genuine, or maybe its trying to send a message of "fear
your big scary government".

Not sure

Aero-

Google 'Echelon'.

Under a nice meadow in Maryland there is a computer system that occupies 18 acres of space. Yes eighteen (18) acres. Floor to ceiling three stories high.

Combined with this computer horsepower is some of the most sophisticated software on the planet. Voice print analysis in real time (remember the movie 'enemy of the state') word analysis and tone analysis. They've got it all. The budget for this stuff is unlimited.

Yes, they can and they do monitor just about all cell phone conversations (they just pluck that out of the air) and most of the land line stuff.

The future is here

Ted Gunderson is a flake. Ex-FBI but still a flake.

QUOTE
Feds Knew of 9-11 and Did Nothing

On Jan. 8, 2003, high-ranking FBI official Ted Gunderson (ret.) visited American Free Press headquarters on Capitol Hill in Washington and provided detailed documentary material that unveils a remarkable series of events.

Gunderson has compiled evidence demonstrating beyond any question that the FBI is now engaged in a clear-cut effort to cover up its foreknowledge of specific allegations about then-impending terrorist attacks of the type that happened on Sept. 11, 2001.

Gunderson’s charges are particularly powerful precisely because of who he (Gunderson) happens to be: a 27-year FBI veteran who capped his career in the bur eau as senior special agent in charge of the Los Angeles office of the FBI. In Los Angeles, Gunderson had over 700 people under his command and operated a $22 million budget. Previously he served as special agent-in-charge of FBI offices in such major cities as Memphis and Dallas.

Following his retirement, Gunderson served as security coordinator for the Pan American Games, appointed by the U.S. attorney general, Griffin Bell, to the post, and later was a consultant to the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Committee and the California Narcotics Authority. Today, Gunderson operates an international security consulting agency based in Los Angeles. He is also a correspondent for AFP.

Gunderson has his own “inside” knowledge of the al Qaeda network going back to the days when purported al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was still officially allied with the United States.

As AFP reported on Jan. 7, 2002, Gunderson met bin Laden in the spring of 1986 when bin Laden—traveling under the name “Tim Osman”—visited the United States under State Department and CIA sponsorship for the purpose of securing arms and aid for Afghan rebels fighting against the Soviet occupation forces in Afghanistan.

Thus having forged contacts with persons connected to bin Laden’s al Qaeda network, Gunderson was well positioned to learn—in the wake of the 9-11 attacks—stunning information pointing toward negligence by U.S. authorities, including the FBI, in failing to respond to early warnings about possible terrorist attacks.

so basically (as i understand it) gunderson believes in and helps to susbtantiate a LIHOP scenario, right?

This puts Gunderson into the limited hangout category. In all of his "expetise" and experience, investigations, acuasations he has produced zero results. The results like this for an investigative firm would surely be detrimental to business unless the results he produces is what the end result desired by the handlers. I've never trusted anyone that is "former", as they usually are "still".

I would have to disagree on that point - maybe Gunderson hasn't gotten any substantive results, but he's tried to tell what he knows, which carries special weight because of his background - he was quoted in the Zeitgeist movie btw. Sibel Edmonds is trying to do exactly the same thing, pursuant to the same end, to pull back the curtain. Ray McGovern is another (also ex-CIA). For that matter, none in the 'truth-movement' have achieved substantive results, other than to inform more people. This is not for a lack of trying, the fact is the "powers that be" have the mainstream media, the courts and the political machinery all sewed up, so it's very difficult to achieve any real change, everyone knows this. If one is to put Gunderson in the "limited hangout" category, one would have to stick ALL of us there. IMHO.

These revelations come on us all gradually. No one wants to believe it at first. Then, you have the denial stage, and finally, concern for the life of one's self and family, knowing what these people are capable of.

To second guess why Gunderson hasn't done more, or didn't do more sooner, much less to paint him as something other than as simply a whistleblower (limited hang-outer? is that a word??) is stretching it. For Chrissakes people, use some common sense. Yes, there are shills, yes, the powers that be (from well organized Pentagon offices and elsewhere) are constantly infiltrating truth sites and trying to spread dissent and disinfo, but that doesn't mean that EVERYONE is a dis-info-agent. I think there are far more claims of "dis-info agent" - "limited-hangouter" than there are people who simply want to get what they know out there but stop short of sacrificing their own and their family's lives. Someone like Gunderson is not like you and me - he's part of the system, he's not supposed to say anything about this stuff, he's very vulnerable. Personally, I applaud him for speaking out.

BTW, this Gunderson clip is quite old.
