Sometimes I haven't maybe the proper words.
I met Grizz just on this forum. Both distant some half the Earth, never knowing even his name or face, but I always have a good feeling he's a good man.
Let's not forget, we're here and there, because the others died, unjustifiably and for the very sinister ends, and there were milions of them, we never even crossed their way, and could be even much more and the bilions of blessed ones in their souls are already out there.
I'm glad I met Grizz at least here on the very same path of pursuit of justice and truth and with all respect I like to say Grizz had the privilege to die on it, not as a sheeple.
My deep condolences to the family and loved ones.

Grizz- an ol' Southwesterner' like you knows what this means...

The Highwaymen - Highwayman Music Video

The Highwaymen Lyrics

I was a highwayman, along the coach roads I did ride,
With sword and pistol by my side.
Many a young maid lost her baubles to my trade.
Many a soldier shed his lifeblood on my blade.
The bastards hung me in the spring of twenty-five:
But I am still alive.

I was a sailor, I was born upon the tide.
And with the sea I did abide.
I sailed a schooner round the Horn to Mexico.
I went aloft and furled the mainsail in a blow.
And when the yards broke off, they said that I got killed:
But I am living still.

I was a dam builder across the river deep and wide;
Where steel and water did collide.
A place called Boulder on the wild Colorado,
I slipped and fell into the wet concrete below.
They buried me in that great tomb that knows no sound:
But I am still around.
I'll always be around,.
And around and around and around and around.

I fly a starship across the Universe divide.
And when I reach the other side,
I'll find a place to rest my spirit if I can.
Perhaps I may become a highwayman again.
Or I may simply be a single drop of rain;
But I will remain.
And I'll be back again,

And again and again and again and again

RIP Grizz, a very sad time. A very kind and honorable man. It is my hope we will meet at a later time, and raise a few glasses to the success we achieved after fighting so long. We lost a warrior for the truth here on Earth but we gained a new ally in the next realm.

Very sad news, even if I did not know Bill personally I read his posts on a regular basis, and I know he cared about all of us and the world we live in, and in this society where it's all about me myself and I, that's quite remarkable really, not many of us around. So we will not give up, we will continue his, our quest, in this way we all live on. Rest in peace Bill.

Sad days for us as he will be missed.
Death is not the end.
I picture Grizz up there readjusting the attitude of God himself.
He is now a Knight of the Highest of Veils.

Being new here I didn't know Grizz except to see his name and that he was a long time member but I am feeling deeply touched by the posts in his memory. I went back and re-read some of his contributions. Can't help wondering what he is experiencing now. If only we could know something (even just a teensy bit) of what it's like to finally get to that place/state of being in which we hope to find ultimate truth.

To a fallen comrade, the viking prayer from The 13th Warrior:

LO,THERE DO I SEE MY FATHER...

LO, THERE DO I SEE MY MOTHER AND MY SISTERS AND MY BROTHERS...

LO,THERE DO I SEE THE LINE OF MY PEOPLE BACK TO THE BEGINNING...

LO, THEY DO CALL TO ME.

THEY BID ME TAKE MY PLACE AMONG THEM

IN THE HALLS OF VALHALLA

WHERE THE BRAVE MAY LIVE FOREVER...!!!

Miss you Bill. Save us a place. We're all coming eventually.

For those of you who haven't seen The 13th Warrior, here's the video clip that the above prayer comes from.

I don't know what to say/write. I am shaking my head. Can't believe it. One thing I loved about Bill, was that he always saw the best in people, even if they didn't deserve it. He had a wonderful attitude to life.
Take care Bill, you will be sadly missed xxx

In the Next Room

Death is nothing at all:
I have only slipped away into the next room.
I am I and you are you;
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.
Call me by my old familiar name.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no difference in your tone:
Wear no forced air or solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed at the
little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Why should I be out of mind
because I am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you, for an interval,
somewhere very near,
Just around the corner. All is well.

He is undoubtedly going to be missed greatly. From what I know of his posts, he was a compassionate, bright and courageous truth seeker.

I have read the posts from members here and felt that Grizz was a shining light among you all. I didn't know him but feel I do now. I'd like to offer this small piece I found many years ago now when I was "searching for my own life's meaning" .. it made me feel good then.

Kia Ora Grizz
Stann

On the death of any living creature the spirit returns to the spiritual world, the body to the bodily world. In this however only the bodies are subject to change. The spiritual world is one single spirit who stands like unto a light behind the bodily world and who, when any single creature comes into being, shines through it as through a window. According to the kind and size of the window less or more light enters the world. The light itself however remains unchanged.

Rest in peace OF/Grizz/Bill sad.gif
I never really had the chance to chat/talk to him but reading all your posts, it feels like we have lost a great comrade and for some of you even a friend.

My condolences to his family and friends.
May his soul rest in peace in a place much better than this world.

IT--
