Composer James Horner dead in Single Pilot Aboard accident.
Had this model of double-seater any flaws? Auto-pilot, fly-by-wire (what not?), vulnerabilities? Great Planet wide loss to the the Movie and Sci-fi community, which does count from my perspective. Seems to me, there are more and more very inconvenient, from a human perspective, plane related issues! |

As I understand, the Tucano is Embraer's imitation of the Pilatus PC series, 7 and 9. It has the PT6 engine and is very similar to the USAF advanced trainer Texan II. I doubt very much it is fly by wire.
Too bad about the accident. Sooner or later the facts will come in. |
