Your crash test needs to include concrete slabs and bolted connections. Hitting it dead nuts at the spandrel will only demonstrate one aspect of a complex system. Get a longer wing and place several sections of bolted exterior panels in the offset grid pattern, just like the actual tower. Hit it on a diagonal.

It is perfectly plausible for the plane to hit the tower, lose the battle, get shredded by the columns and enter the windows. Where the engines or other robust elements struck, the bolted connects failed and the columns were disconnected.

You can see the result in the north tower image in the video. The wing tips did not cut the columns. The columns cut the wing and the pieces entered through the glazing openings. Only the aluminum facade was damaged/discolored.
