Hello all,
This is my first post. I have been reading through the various articles on the site for a week or so and I must say that I am impressed! Sites like this are really needed, especially were I come from in Australia. As far as I know none of the mainstream media here have ever run a story that questions what happened on 9/11. For our media we have the government owned ABC (I call it the Australian Brainwashing corporation) run by board of loyalists to the Prime Minister who just happens to be best buddies with GWBush. As for the commercial media, Their idea of news is pushing weight loss programs thinly disguised as current affair programming. I am not a pilot but I do have some experience with embedded systems programming - so I would be interesting at looking into the Flight Data Recorder stuff too. I will let you know if I discover anything interesting! Cheers, and thanks to all those people have put effort towards this site! |

Hello mrodway, I'm an Aussie too. I also lived in Tassie for a while, Northwest Coast. Now I'm in sunny Queensland.

The best part about our concentrated media is that you never need worry about contrary opinions. Our TV Current Affair shows say the same crap, just on different nights and our Newspapers are all owned bar a couple by two corporations. That's why the ABC is important because when you're watching it you're thinking to yourself maybe just maybe no one else is. |

Yes, I forgot to mention the Newspapers. I have always though that if they printed them on softer, more absorbent paper then they would actually be good for something :-) Thanks everyone for the welcome! Cheers |
