I was wondering where can you listen to the recording of the cockpit of flight 93? Also recordings for the other 3 planes would be nice as well. Thanks.

Hello and welcome Tom,
You can find the UA93 audio and a transcript at: http://www.thememoryhole.org/911/flight93-air-traffic.htm [WMA audio] http://www.thememoryhole.org/911/flight93-air-traffic.wma The cockpit voice recorders (CVR) were "never recovered" for AA11/WTC1 North and UA175/WTC2 South Tower- there's an interesting dilemma in its own right. I don't believe that AA77 had a CVR recovered either. Rob and others have gone to considerable work with the flight data recorder for AA77 though. There was an interesting article in the CSMonitor about AA11's communications with the air traffic control stations: http://pilotsfor911truth.org/forum//index.php?showtopic=8237 |

Ah, I meant sound recordings of the actual struggle in the cockpit between the hijackers and the passengers, not the air traffic controller recording.

Hi Tom,
According to the following, there was a court order "protecting" that: http://notablecases.vaed.uscourts.gov/1:01...ocs/72176/0.pdf There are portions of the transcript at: http://edition.cnn.com/interactive/law/060...ht93/index.html Our government hasn't exactly been forthcoming and open with evidence in most of the 9/11 matters. You might try looking around at: http://www.rcfp.org/moussaoui/ http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timelin...ay_of_9/11=ua93 http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Flight_93_cock...Moussaoui_trial Hope this helps, d |

I think we have the audio here at PFT. Shame on me for not knowing where exactly, but somebody will come along that can direct you.
I think it's also available at a radio monitoring site something like Military Comms Monitoring. Sounds totally staged to me--very artificial. You might also find interesting the story of the cockpit crew of Delta 1989 that day. That is also here somewhere. BTW, I don't think there is audio of the supposed cockpit takeover, just the radio transmissions before and after the incident. This post has been edited by amazed!: May 25 2008, 09:48 PM |

QUOTE I don't believe that AA77 had a CVR recovered either. The official word is that it was recovered but was too damaged to provide any audio. You would expect if that was the case the NTSB would be providing recommendations to improve the survivability of CVR's. |

BTW, I don't think there is audio of the supposed cockpit takeover, just the radio transmissions before and after the incident. According to the NTSB, only 30 minutes of audio was recovered from the CVR from United 93. United 93 was equipped with a Digital Cockpit Voice recorder that would have recorded 120 minutes. The old magnetic tape recorders only recorded 30 minutes. This is an area of investigation that can be easily confirmed with the technicians at United. You simply look at the Digital Cockpit Voice Recorders on the tail numbers immediately preceding United 93 and the tail numbers immediately following United 93 and determine how many minutes those aircraft record. The Operating Manual of most of the jets I have flown stated how long the CVR recorded. However, I have noticed in the latest Boeing Operating Manuals I have worked with, the number of minutes recorded is no longer included. This post has been edited by honway: May 27 2008, 10:23 PM |

Thanks for the info Honway.
And of course only the families of those on 93 were "allowed" to hear the contrived 30 minute piece. What a fraud! |

Let me guess...
hmm... (IMG:http://pilotsfor911truth.org/forum/style_emoticons/default/whistle.gif) somebody don't want you to listen at it! (IMG:http://pilotsfor911truth.org/forum/style_emoticons/default/laughing1.gif) Maybe they wanna tell you it's too hard for your mind... while we're all watching films like SAW... of course (IMG:http://pilotsfor911truth.org/forum/style_emoticons/default/cleanup.gif) ... I need to edit one thing... while we're all watching films like SAW and eat a pizza (IMG:http://pilotsfor911truth.org/forum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) This post has been edited by Destinova: Jun 19 2008, 04:50 PM |

Same place, same time, same tailsection, same impact tolerance (IMG:http://pilotsfor911truth.org/forum/style_emoticons/default/whistle.gif) I need to do more research but I can add this. I install Penny/Giles MPFR (multi purpose flight recorders) in our newer aircraft here at my place of work. It is a single box that records up to 4 independent channels of audio, currently configured channel 2 for the copilot, channel 3 for the pilot, and channel 4 for the cockpit area mic. Channel 1 is not utilized. This same box is also the FDR that get's information from a flight data acquisition unit that sums up many parameters from various systems and digitizes it for the fdr portion of the MPFR to record all on the same solidstate memory banks. That's right it's a dual purpose box CV/FDR. Wouldn't it be nice to know whether or not 77 was equipped with a similar unit? That would create a few holes in the "too damaged to provide any audio" theory. I'm gonna see what I can find about the actual part #'ed units installed, what model/type, who built them and how long had they been installed. Does anyone know if these aircraft were fairly new? Chances of them having dual purpose units would be better if they were. |

The FDR was a SSFDR FA2100 built by L3 Communications. We interviewed L3 who informed us their recorders are built to Minimal Operational Performance Specs ED-55 and TSO-124 which means the recorder cannot be missing more than 0.5 seconds.
See Claim 2 here for more details... http://pilotsfor911truth.org/forum//index.php?showtopic=7163 |

Will the FBI or NTSB ever give us the info we desire? I just think it's crazy they block our attempts at every turn. I just visited the NTSB site for myself only to find this... (IMG:http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f65/doubledisease/77fbi.jpg) and the FAA has two of the 4 a/c N-numbers listed as canceled and the other two as destroyed...wtf? How did you find out what kind of FDR was supposedly on 77? Is there a site I can go to myself? Seems the 757 was manufactured in 1991 which kinda puts it in the fairly new category, but I'm gonna keep looking for a link to my fd/cvr hunch. |

Wow! Very interesting reading regarding the posts of the crash of that McDonnell Douglas MD-82 N215AA crash in little rock 02 jun of 1999. I never heard about that one till now. Looked as though from the pics I found here... http://images.search.yahoo.com/images/view...;sigb=132p3cu39 that it was never even even on the runway, before it ran through the grass and jumped the wall and then smashed sideways into the suspended strobe navaid. http://images.search.yahoo.com/images/view...;sigb=132p3cu39 Sorry, I got side tracked. Guess that's why I never finished my flight training, that and airplane crashes scare me. Ok back to the MPFR idea. I guess that's a dead end. Looks like that fairchild fdr is a common box preferred by AA. I guess short of working there and installing the units myself I'll never find out for sure what's being used now. AirDisaster.com has some of the CVR recording (with disclaimers) at: http://www.airdisaster.com/download2/ua93.shtml Again, that ATC recording is at: http://www.thememoryhole.org/911/flight93-air-traffic.htm http://www.thememoryhole.org/911/flight93-air-traffic.wma |
