I caught the end of the Diane Rehm Show on 6/4/08, in which she interviewed Lynn Spencer, who is apparently on a mission to rehabilitate the official account of 9/11 by dressing up the lie in a brand new outfit. Ms Stewart is an airline pilot, and to hear her tell it, the military performed superbly, the commanders were decisive and heroic, and Generals Myers and Eberhardt think her account is just swell! How all this effective and decisive action resulted in the worst sh*t-storm to ever hit our capital or nation - well that must have just been bad luck. We'd never practiced it before - that's the ticket.

I have not read the book. I only heard the last few minutes of the show, but after throwing up in my mouth a little, I wrote the following to Ms. Rehm:

I was not able to hear the entire show, but I only had to listen to the part about the Mineta testimony and the summary by Ms Spencer to recognize yet another attempt to shore up the official account by lying shamelessly to stretch the timeline to conform to the 9/11 Commission version. The version of facts presented by Ms Spencer is backed by a highly skewed account presented by Cheney to Evan Thomas. Mr. Mineta was definite in confirming that the incident took place before the attack on the Pentagon. It is unlikely that he could mistake that sequence. That makes Flight 93 a far-fetched explanation for an aircraft described as 30, 20, or 10 miles out. Did you hear the tortured explanation she offered trying to bend the story to fit the position of flight 93 instead of the spiral approach of Flight 77? Pilots for 9/11 Truth has exhaustively explored the two flights. This research is contained in the documentaries Pandora's Black Box, Chapters 1-3, based on Flight Data Recorder data that the NTSB furnished in answer to a FOIA request. They will neither explain nor defend the problems presented by the data - that, according to the data, both aircraft took flight paths divergent from the account shown by the data, and inconsistent with the damage on the ground. In the case of Flight 77, if the data is believed, the aircraft in question could not possibly have either hit the Pentagon nor could it have struck down the light poles or skimmed the lawn to appear in the "five frames" represented by the government as showing the impact. http://pilotsfor911truth.org/

I urge you to at least invite Professor David Ray Griffin or a representative of Pilots for 911 Truth on to present the other side of a story that the American people need to hear.
