Once again, it seems we are getting set up, this time it is from Barak.. ' Obama said his plan for withdrawing one or two combat brigades a month from Iraq after he takes office always depended on conditions on the ground. "My job is to make sure that the strategic issues that we face ... are all taken into account and dealt with in a way that enhances America's national security interests over the long term," Obama said. "I'm going to continue to gather information to find out whether those conditions still hold," he said. "My guiding approach continues to be that we've got to make sure our troops are safe and Iraq is stable." There is just one problem with this disposition, and that is, it literally could mean a continuum of what is going on there today!!! ' What this sounds like to me is that "the American people need to know that they never had a choice to begin with. That by going to the poles to vote, so as to end the Iraqi war, that they must be shown that their will is meaningless when compared to international banking interests." http://www.reuters.com/article/newsOne/idUSN0319227720080703 This post has been edited by colonial: Jul 3 2008, 07:51 PM |
