obviously, the democrats have overwhelmingly taken the house.
as it stands right now, they are poised to take the senate also, the tally being 49-49-1 at the moment. montana is looking like a close race, but it would seem that tester will defeat burns due to the precints not counted yet being on the western side of montana, ie; missoula et., which are swinging for tester. webb has pulled ahead of allen by about 12,000 votes in virginia, which would be more than the 1/2 per centage point that would automate a recount with the state picking up the tab. if allen wants to litigate, he'll have to pay for a recount himself, but all the talking heads believe he'd lose the recount. so it would seem that the eventual outcome of the senate race will be 51-49-1 in favor of the dems. let us hope and pray that today means we have bought the time we need to effect the change we need in this country. to let the new leadership know we demand accountability for 9/11. to end the war. to raise the minimum wage. and to stop the genocide in darfur............. as for me, i'm exhausted, and going to bed. love, peace and brotherhood/sisterhood to all. we pulled off a major victory tonight. Godspeed to all and Good Luck.................BMC (IMG:http://pilotsfor911truth.org/forum/style_emoticons/default/salute.gif) |
