Frankly I would not worry about e^n ( AAL77.com )... I trust him even if we majorly disagree on certain aspects.

I had some free time today to make the rounds at the cesspool and asylum... so I figured I would bump this thread for those interested.

"They did a lot planning at the Pentagon for this sort of thing because of the proximity of Reagan National. Especially after the Jet Blue crash in 1982 which came pretty darn close." - John Farmer, ATS Forum, June 18, 2012 lmao... someone may want to inform Farmer that jetBlue wasn't founded until 1999 and that the crash he refers to is in fact Air Florida and has absolutely nothing to do with planning around the Pentagon. The same Departure procedure is in effect today, and can happen today. The only change as a result of the referenced accident was SOP and CRM in stall recovery technique due to what may be an iced over N1 probe. Then again, Farmer was never really good at attention to detail. Hilarious. JREF should nominate him for a "Stundie" for that one. I've been informed John Farmer claims he is banned at this forum. So i'll post this here for anyone interested and for historical accuracy.
First, many already know John is known for his blatant lying, so it should be no surprise to learn he is not banned. He registered a few socks here which are banned (one of them was "dog" off the top of my head). But his spcengineer/911files account is still very active. He has been placed into the troll user group for obvious reasons, which means he is only allowed to post here in the debate section as we will not let him muck up the rest of the forum as he does at every other forum he visits. Farmer continues his blatant lies due to the fact he is unable to confront me directly, and instead libels me in areas of the web in which he knows i cannot respond, such as ATS where i was banned long ago, and the JREF, in which they denied my registration using my real name many years ago. John, anytime you wish to debate, the door is open, all you have to do is walk through it. Just come in with the username with which you initially registered. Most forums will not allow multiple active user names. ATS is one of them, so it is puzzling why they let you have two usernames active on their forum. The very definition of sock.
The JREFers should nominate that one for a 'Stundie'...lol |

Only centers normally communicate to the air defense units, like NEADS, unless the air defense units have an MRU mission with the approach control. MRU is military radar unit. I don't believe Dulles had an MRU mission. Most centers have a landline with the Air Defense Units, just shout on the line they are there. On my position that day I did not have direct landline communication, joe cooper did at his position, so sometimes I would relay to him what I wanted, but eventually I made most of my calls on the DSN phone to NEADS.
