I think that is safely the longest, slowest "roll" I've ever seen. I would have been very nervous too. Any idea how long the runway is relative to others?

I believe it is Fairburn (Canberra) which IIRC until everyone had upgrade for the big Airbus was one of the longest runways in the country.

According to this site, Canberra (YSCB) runway 17/35 would be 8802 x 148 feet.
http://www.the-airport-guide.com/airport.p...irports_id=9907 That's about 1/2 what the 2 longest Russian airports are listed at these 2 sites: http://www.simtours.net/longestrunways.php http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_longest_runways It seems like a "tight fit" for that Il-76 to me.
