This new album has been leaked on youtube, my favorite band in the past 5 years easily. I know you peeps can appreciate music and lyrics like this: Beggars. "All you great men of power, you who boast of your feats, politicians and entrepreneurs: Can you safeguard your breath in the night while you sleep, keep your heart beating steady and sure? As you lie in your bed, does the thought haunt your head, that your really rather small? If there's one thing I know in this life, We are beggars all! Glad you all like! (IMG:http://pilotsfor911truth.org/forum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) This song is some powerful stuff.
Their earlier stuff started out as progressive punk, but lately everything they do is of the experimental rock variety. Politically and socially speaking I think this band is totally relevant and completely in touch. I suspect they're down with the truth movement too, judging from the lyrics in "Broken Lungs". (IMG:http://pilotsfor911truth.org/forum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Some of my other favorites by them are "For Miles", "Of Dust and Nations", "All the World is Mad", "The Whaler". Enjoy! |
