Hi All,
Has anyone done any analysis regarding UA175 impact bank angle? If so, please post it. If not, lets research it here. Post videos, photos, measurements... etc. Thanks! |

Table E-8 of NIST NCSTAR 1-2 puts UA175 at 38 degrees left wing downward roll (+/- 2 deg), pitched 6 degrees down (+/- 2 deg), and 15 degrees (+/- 2 deg "clockwise from Structure North") or "off building normal" on page lxxiii (or p. 75 of 462 in PDF). See also Fig. E-24, Section E.7.4, and Figs. E-44 and E-45 for WTC2 (pages 93-96 of PDF). 542 +/- 24 mph speed.

This enforces my belief that that the cave-dweller-
-box cutter-wielding, cant fly a Cessna 172 terrorists, were not at the helm of these planes. I have flown the sim on these planes and many more, and i can tell you first hand that a coordinated turn at this speed and angle is no joke, and in my mind impossible for these sub-amateurs. -Aero |
