The panels from WTC 1 are sticking up in the background and behind that is a white hot glow indicating very intense heat down in that area. WTC 4 is heavily damaged and engulfed in flames. WTC 5 is not on fire yet. There are still a lot of people standing around this area, so I'm not sure if WTC 1 has come down yet or not? Then WTC 5 goes from no fire to fully involved in flames. This next picture is very confusing. Heavy smoke is coming out of the top of the first floor. So is this the beginning of the fire or the end? It appears that the Church Street side of the building has already been damaged by the fire, so that it would indicate that the fire is going out. If the fire is going out it is putting itself out because NYPD only was able to put one hose on this structure and that didn't make a dent. So we've got a steel building that's not on fire, then it's fully involved in fire and then it puts itself out. This is not a normal fire from falling debris. |
