ShareThisUganda Says 64 Dead in 'Terrorist' Attacks in Capital 12 Jul 2010 At least 64 people died in the Ugandan capital, Kampala, in two bomb attacks suspected to have been carried out by Somali Islamist insurgents, Ugandan security officials said. The explosions occurred at bars in the south and east of the city where crowds of football fans were watching the soccer World Cup finals, Agence France-Presse reported, citing police spokeswoman Judith Nabakooba. At least 67 people were injured.
