ShareThisBritish soldier killed in Afghanistan 13 Jul 2010 A British soldier, on foot patrol, has been killed by small arms fire in the violence-wracked Sangin district of Helmand province of southern Afghanistan. The serviceman, from 40 Commando Royal Marines, was on foot patrol with the Afghan National Army troopers when he was shot.
