-so its not new. but since you've brought it up, here are some things that stick out (for me):

note: in the above the plane also contradicts the official path because the loop its flying is smaller and
does not go outside of arlington (matches dca atc chris stephenson's "disappeared behind some buildings" quote),
whereas the official path has it reaching at least 5 miles further west (near or over springfield)

-even though natgeo's propaganda piece tries hard to corroborate the official story, apparently they hadnt yet discovered that there was/is a discrepancy in the official path versus the true path - the one that was witnessed by people in that last stretch of the plane's approach. so without knowing it, they (on several occasions) actually CONTRADICT the official path of the plane, instead of reinforcing it. most likely thats a result of them (natgeo) basing their piece on actual witness recollections instead of strictly on official lies. now they dont get the path exactly right, but they are much closer to the TRUE PATH than they are to the alleged official path of the plane.

Yep, it looks like Nat Geo was on the right track in 2004 before the 2006 NTSB data was released.

The eyewitnesses prove the plane flew over DC.:
