Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak talks Apple's past, present and future

I remember plowing through the source of The Woz in the Apple ][s documentation and seeing his name in lights.

Used the built in assembler a little but then chose to assemble code on an Acorn with its superior assembler facility and then convert to a stream of hex codes for the Apple to place in memory and create an executable. I dare not run the assembled code on the Acorn as the different allocations of Zero Page memory locations would have created porridge. (IMG:http://pilotsfor911truth.org/forum/style_emoticons/default/spin.gif) Curious things that programmers did on occasion.

I also recall the Apple's rather awkward graphic creation regimen, the interlaced nature of the screen memory with the last eight bytes of each line allocated to IO (WTF!), the strange shifting of graphics memory according to video mode, the disjoint in Basic programming space amongst other neat features to keep programmers on their toes. All this on the ][e.
