I am beginning to think the that the elite scare themselves and don't trust each other to run anything. That being said, with all of Paul's recent air time and promotion (Leno and Jon Stewart) it is obvious he is going to "win" the election. I believe Paul has been asked ,or will soon be asked to serve as a buffer between the commomners and the elite. Paul is going to be asked to save the 'elite' from themselves because he is seen as a pragmatic and honest man, even if the PTB don't agree with him on major points. If this is true, I still see this as a victory.

The american electorate, like any mob, is not rational. Evidence of that little factoid is the way in which it has rejected Ron Paul for the third time.
