9/11 Lost Tapes Options

For the first time British audiences will hear newly released audio recordings which offer a unique insight and moving perspective on 9/11 and the fateful minutes that changed America forever.

On the morning of the attacks, hundreds of hours of military and air traffic control conversations were captured on tape painting a chilling and tragic picture of events spiralling inexorably out of control. With events unfolding at breakneck-speed, the tapes reveal in minute-by-minute detail, the chaos and confusion wrought by the attacks.

Revelations include how Air Force fighter jets, scrambled to protect Washington, set out in the wrong direction - ending up 60 miles out across the Atlantic ocean and that permission to shoot down hijacked passenger planes only came through after the last plane crashed.

And while air traffic controllers watched the second plane crash into the World Trade Center tower, fighter jets were still 100 miles away from New York and amid all the confusion it took 39 minutes for the news of United 93's hijack to reach the military.

With testimonies from the people who appear on the tapes, the film vividly conveys the emotion, courage and panic in the voices of air traffic controllers and military personnel whose job it was to protect America as it came under attack.

Not really sure what they mean by "lost tapes", as the NORAD/NEADS tapes have been available for years.

channel 4 over here in the uk , are promoting this like nobodies business, the clip they are airing portrays a voice saying "no 1 has just had his throat cut" this smacks in the face of everything i have come to believe concerning the events of 9/11.
i will post it here when they show it ,their might be some characters on it that someone can shed some light on.

I saw that programme advertised. I had never heard one of the alleged phonecalls where a woman's voice said
"there's a cut throat". Is that the segment you're referring to? Really weird.

im in the states, so i dont have access to channel4, but im 99% sure the audios from this new piece, were released back in september (2011). although i cant find it*, there is probably a topic here at this forum regarding that release. but you can listen to those audios (and read the transcripts) here:

I will definitely be watching this tonight, the clip shown had me confused.
Channel 4 occasionally throw out a controversial documentary, if anyone is going to air a show like that it would be channel4, sadly i think it will be another whitewash to strengthen the official story. Especially after reading this line :

Revelations indeed! Are they going to reveal the truth? Doubt it. The last 9/11 doc i watched on c4 was 'State of Emergency' and featured Condoleezza Rice and others talking about what happened, procedures etc, it was awful, the most official hugging program i have ever seen. So i am not holding my breath for this one.

I thought it was a strange time to air this doc. They are usually shown around the first 2 weeks in September, channel 4 always bring a new one out every year. It's only April, wonder why they are showing it now.
