I cant imagine The USA just appointing anyone to be the Director of the CIA. Nixon used Bush to set up relations with the Chinese.. some intelligence might help connect to the top Govt officaials I still wander about China`s 1978 Invasion of South Vietanm, China lost 50,000 men in a 30 day war, I always guessed that Bush made some dirty deal with China to use up all the Ammo we left in Vietnam..
