Ron Paul Excluded In Iowa Options

Iowans for Tax Relief and Iowa Christian Alliance will host a presidential candidates forum on Saturday, June 30th in Des Moines. Republican presidential candidates Mitt Romney, Sam Brownback, Jim Gilmore, Mike Huckabee, Tommy Thompson, and Tom Tancredo will participate.

Ron Paul, however, will not participate. Why? Because he wasn’t invited.

Calls to the organization by Pauls campaign staff confirms that he was intentionally not invited.

I'm sure this Tax Relief is really a slight of hand job. Make the forms easier to fill out but hide more of the details making it more of a Relief to file your taxes. Relieving the IRS from having to explain itself.

Dear Mr. Failor:

I CANNOT BELIEVE that you would want to exclude from the debate the ONLY Republican candidate who has spoken consistently AND HONESTLY about the issue of excess taxation.  Of course, you know I am talking about the courageous patriotic American by the name of Ron Paul.

This truly boggles my mind.  It makes me wonder if there another "agenda" to your organization other than tax "relief"?  I just don't know about your organization.

I cannot believe that you would want to exclude from the debate the only Republican candidate who has been consistently opposed to abortion and doesn't try to play political word games with unborn babies.  Even Mitt Romney has waffled on this issue.  And, along with Mr. Romney this long-serving congressman is one of only two of the candidates who is still on his FIRST marriage.  I'm sure by now you know I am talking about the moral, ethical, courageous and patriotic American by the name of RON PAUL.

Your failure to invite Ron Paul to the debate has me truly puzzled.  Are there some other, underlining, and more sinister motives at work here?  As a christian and free American I will vote my conscience and not play political games.  By trying to "hide" the most moral and ethical candidate from the voting public you are "exposing" something about your own organization.  Something very un-christian.

I sent emails to Iowans for Tax Relief and the Iowa Christian Alliance. Here's the one I sent to bone head at Iowans for Tax Relief.

Subject:  Ron Paul not invited to presidential debate on June 30????

Mr. Failor,

I'm most surprised that Ron Paul is not invited to the Iowa presidential debate on June 30 that is co-sponsored by the Iowans for Tax Relief.  Dr. Paul is and has been a staunch advocate for the abolishment of the IRS and the personal income tax system which is illegal.  Have you looked at Dr. Paul's candidacy and Congressional voting record?  He has been consistent in his firm stance of maintaining the rule of law and protection of the Constitution.  Here's a link to Dr. Paul's 2008 campaign website.

Dr. Paul's website has noted that he has been excluded from this debate.  As a leader of Iowans for Tax Relief, one would think that you'd be sure to include Ron Paul in a debate co-sponsored by your organization.  Am I missing something, or has your organization??
