On Saturday, June 16th Dr. Paul was welcomed at Sky Harbor Int. Airport and asked what he could do to investigate the events September 11th, 2001.
Here is a MAN who is not afraid to answer the question. Dr. Paul just speaks from the heart and tells it like it is! Source: http://www.911blogger.com/ |

He diverted (looking forwardly) a bit at the end, but it's a dangerous dance when you're an elected official saying anything other than the official line. But the part that sticks in my mind best is when he mentioned Waco, Ruby Ridge, 9/11 and then stated:
"they're cover-ups, basically" GO RON PAUL!!! (IMG:http://pilotsfor911truth.org/forum/style_emoticons/default/salute.gif) |

Hmmm. Well, he didn't dodge the question but what he did was answer it the way politicians answer such questions. What I heard him say at the end there is that it was mostly 'incompetence' (which it was not) and would take more than a change in president to get to the bottom of it (which it most assuredly will). You have to have a DoD that wants to get to the bottom of it, for example. I did not hear him say emphatically that he would open up a new investigation.
Kucinich, on the other hand, has said that he will begin investigations into certain financial a aspects of 9/11 beginning this September. Now, that is a far cry from what we'd like but it is a beginning and hopefully better than nothing. He was also careful not to say too much in terms of what, precisely, he is interested in investigating. The financial aspect is an important one, however, as it could be more likely to lead to specific individuals than an inquiry into physical evidence alone (for example). |

Kucinich, Paul, both are good people. Both have a sense of where we are, what is going on. Both are probably inundated with questions in their own minds, how to procede? How to imply their agenda without being crushed. Thank god we still have politicians of that caliber out there... - I support them both !

QUOTE (Sanders @ Jun 20 2007, 10:38 AM) Kucinich, Paul, both are good people. Both have a sense of where we are, what is going on. Thank god we still have politicians of that caliber out there... - I support them both ! Sanders, that pretty much says it all right there. Paul is very anti-establishment, which is obvious, and kucinich is taking an extra step towards investigating 9/11 (he probably won't get very far, but at least he's trying) Kucinich doesn't seem to have as much of a shot as Ron does at possibly getting a nomination, so i'm fine with how both of them are handling their politics. Here's a question for some of you guys... Let's say Ron gets elected...he will no doubt be appointing only the most trusted people in his circle to cabinet positions... is there any chance that some of his closest would even get confirmed? |

QUOTE (CoachUK @ Jun 20 2007, 03:59 PM) I wish he was an indepentant instead of a member of the repiglican party. If he was running Independant right now, he'd have ZERO chance. By running republican, he gets to be in the spotlight of the republican candidates, and get exposure. Not to mention, he stands for what republicans USED to be...don't let the paradigms fool you. |

QUOTE he stands for what republicans USED to be...don't let the paradigms fool you. Yes, mo fiya, and I'm noticing more and more of a split in the Republican party between the Goldwater/Reagan/Ron Paul more-libertarian leaning Republicans and the Bush/Cheny/etc. neocons. Unfortunately the neocons seem to be the ones pulling the strings. QUOTE I wish he was an indepentant instead of a member of the repiglican party. Ron Paul is basically an independent since he is not towing the official line of the for the most part unified Republicraps/Demonpublicans (it's really just one party). |
