I was trying to link directly to my last post on the page, but I guess there isn't a way to do that on KT's site. I edited the broken link, but here it is again. You have to scroll down to the last post to see the test pics. FWIW, here is another Hezarkhani page that I found a long time ago:
http://www.911research.dsl.pipex.com/ggua175/hezarkhani/ I'm actually more interested in speed and pitch/roll angles though (and the video is fairly "spotty" at best there). Also that full-size Canon EOS 30D link is broken too... |

Photobucket page with test pics Unfortunately, photobucket has reduced the bigger image, so there's no long much difference between the smaller one that I put up to post on forums and the bigger one that showed how big a difference there is between the two cameras. If anyone is really interested, I could email the originals but even with the reduction in size, you can still see major differences between the Canon and the Sony in the ones up on Photobucket. Thanks for the link above. Very interesting analysis. Is that your work? In regards to analyzing speed and pitch/roll, that's definitely out of my realm of expertise, but I do agree that from one video to another the flight paths and speed do not match. |
