Here I am in vista hell on my new laptop

Trying to get it loaded with XP

been at it for 3 days --at least 20 hours --still no luck

I need to 'burn an iso image' from the n-lite program onto a cd but can't get a bootable copy of XP

some one recomended Nero --is it worth it ?

this inexpensive laptop (got it from a customer at his distributor cost --$460) is starting to look like a bad deal

I have had pretty good luck with cd's with SONIC and I think there is a DVD version too

Hi bill,

Don't know if you still need a DVD/CD burn software, but here is a pretty simple, small, freeware one that I found pretty easy to use.

EDIT: I personally love Nero, but it came included with an external DVD burner that I bought, and it isn't the easiest to use.
