Is youtube punishing users for their comments?

A youtube account allows one to upload videos and make comments on others' videos.
A feature is the user has a choice to subscribe to different users at youtube and there is a drop down menu that shows any new uploads from their subscriptions.

Recently, some people have noticed that the youtube subscriptions are sometimes not updated, or the subscriptions tab has disappeared, completely.

As i have an account with youtube, and i comment alot, i noticed that if i post a comment that could be considered anti-establishement, my subscription tab mysteriously vanishes for a while.

They say it's just a "bug" and they are working hard to fix it.
Yet, it looks more like this is a way of stick-and-carrot control over the users.

i found a work-around, if you have this problem too.

if you are a member of youtube and your subscriptions have been "disappeared",
go to your home page, sign in, and paste this into your browser:

http://www.youtube.com/my_subscriptions?feature=mhee

It is always hard to know on the internet.
Could just about write a book about things that have happened.
Some of them not very pretty, with --serious wipeouts--, not just losing information.

At the moment Youtube seem more of a --friend-- than an enemy, so my old addage 'let the sleeping dog lie', throw him a bone and sneak past, for when you want to come back again.

Yes, i suppose. The internet was "given" to the public as an information gathering device.
The risk was that people could communicate with each other world wide, and might catch on
to the continuing, long-running, elite-minded agenda for world/political conglomeration.
The internet started off like the wild west, then the fences are slowly put up into place.

But there is still the "idea" of freedom, and most people can still communicate and learn from each other.
So i think it is still necessary for people to use this tool, to magnify their individual potential.
But if the internet ever gets completely under corporate control,
it would become no more useful than a glorified TV.

i managed to fix my problem by changing my browser settings,
this time.
You-tube was an awesome social networking site, and it still is pretty good.
But for new users, i think it has been made more difficult to find these existing networks,
and build new ones.

I am not a subscriber or user, other than being linked there by other posters.

However I just noticed this morning that Utube has now removed, blaming it on NBC, the footage from the news helicopter at Shanksville.

Yes, they rewrite history in accordance with the government story.

YouTube users are punishing themselves with their comments.

Google your YouToob username and every comment ever made by you-know-who will come up.

Those words add up to something resembling a wood carving image of the owner.

Today when i checked out my subscriptions i got this:


Followed by a page of gibberish.

ugh.

Notice the comments section is still gone:


(click on "watch on youtube", and look for comments. Same with other videos!)

update: comment sections have re-appeared,
and the highly trained monkeys, have vanished.
