Full Version: A Listing Of Good 9/11 Related Photo Galleries
Pilots For 9/11 Truth Forum > Study > Research
Okay, I'm trying to collect a group of links to various sites where a significant number of 9/11 related pictures can be seen. Obviously, this list is not going to be comprehensive, so please feel free to add to it, if you are aware of good galleries which contain more images not covered here. Some of the ones on my list are going to have duplication between them and some may be fairly small in comparison with others. I've gone with smaller ones which have unique qualities or high resolution and include larger galleries even if they don't have much to offer in terms of uniqueness or resolution. These are in no particular order. Since such things disappear, if you see something you like, I suggest backing it up...

Study of 9/11 is collecting and categorizing 9/11 related images, so feel free to add to their efforts in that direction:

FTP of 250 images in the Library of Congress collection- a lot of these were shot in the vicinity of WTC 6 on 9/11:

HybridEB has a lot of FTP folders from various sources- definitely a great photographic resource

Here is New York- one of the best large galleries from various sources; they seem to be mirrored at the two locations below, the Spazamataz galleries have additional photos as well.

Spazamataz galleries

Hi Res. ground zero pics taken October 3rd, 2001

Photos for charity

911 Pictures - WTC category (need to create an account to see the larger sizes, I think; these images are up for sale)

Searching Flickr returns some nice images and galleries including the one below- hi res. 9/11 military photos:

Digital Journalist original images ftp folder (you'll see quite a few familiar ones here)

images at freehostia- some nice hi. res. views

FEMA photo libraries for WTC and Pentagon disasters

Aman Zafar's pictures from across the Hudson on 9/11. Lots of good views here:

US Customs image gallery- relatively small, but contains some nice hi res. images.

Images by Terry Schmidt

additionally, NIST, Brent Blanchard (Protec Documentation Services Inc.) and the Smithsonian (among others) probably have a few photos (not to mention videos) I haven't listed here, so feel free to hit them up...
Mass. Search and Rescue Task Force slideshow

Subwaywebnews photos- I think some of these are available in higher res. in a ftp folder on the HybridEB site, but I don't think all of them are available elsewhere. This site is now offline, so I'm linking to the internet archive version of it.
not a large gallery, but some interesting shots here

mostly aftermath shots

An original thread from the original LC forum has some pics:

An original thread from the original LC forum has some pics:

Thanks. I got out of the habit of thinking about the old LC forum when I thought it was going to disappear on us. I figured we'd get a scaffoldrider gallery going here, I guess... B)
Whatever one may think of Judy Woods' theories, she has some pics which I haven't run into elsewhere, so I thought I'd toss in a link here: and the pages following...
Thanks waterdancer. I've been looking for this.
a lot of these are going to be around elsewhere, often in higher resolution, but I thought they were worth an inclusion anyway, because they identify the photographers and there may be some among them that are less well viewed. Mostly Pentagon.
Jim MacMillan's pics
Birdy has compiled a great collection and listing of galleries also, here
a somewhat unusual combination of stock images andvideo stills combined with images which I haven't seen elsewhere.
Not very hi res, but some nice historical and 9/11 images of the WTC and other buildings are collected @ New York Architecture:
Recently I did some 9/11 picture book browsing in a big city library and book store. I've just gotta say, the internet hasn't been showing us the goods in terms of resolution on these pics. I recommend particularly highly taking a look at a book called Aftermath for some real hi res. viewing. It puts the FEMA shots to shame.
a list of galleries is located here:
it includes this one:
which has a lot of nice hi res. images of the debris; though after seeing the abovementioned book Aftermath, my definition of hi res. aftermath images is permanently changed. So, call them medium res. images, perhaps?
I didn't have time to see if this has been posted already, but this appears to be a site hosted at the Univ. of Hawaii that focuses on the Pentagon on 9/11. Some of the links don't work and some, like the Pentagon Renovation Program, take a while to download. Lots of information here. Hope some of you serious researchers find it useful.

Recently posted on Flickr- a small number but impressive up close shots (as in looking up while standing right next to WTC 7 @ 8:50 AM) from Jim A. Luko .

+ a new compilation thread I've created which I think stand on its own merits, though it simply gleans and compiles from others:

Flight 175
Day three aftermath flickr photo set:
Compilation of 1300 images; more faces than many similar compilations, a fair number of screenshots.

Found it among a list of links here (so I don't forget)
I'm not sure if it was posted in this thread before, but WD has a very good thread in the Pentagon section at:

Mostly Hi Res., Mostly Pentagon Pics, from original .mil source

EDIT: Here's another of waterdancer's excellent threads:

1600 Pentagon Pics From The Week Of 9/11?, How many have you seen?
I am new to this site, but not to 911.

I do have to say that I am impressed with what I have seen so far on this site.

I would like to thank you for all your time in linking pictures of 911 and other things that I came across.

I sure hope you have all those pics on a hard drive somewhere, since some of the links are now bad.

I have been saving the original broadcasts of the news stories on that day on my hard drive, FYI. It is all available on the internet, for now. I could provide links.

I haven't been through this whole site yet, but I am looking for one thing in particular that I cannot find: The opinions of the members on here on what they think really happened to all 4 planes and the passengers. I know each plane has its own thread, but I am searching for one topic about all 4 planes as a group. I am sure this has had to be discussed somewhere, non? Any info on this would be appreciated, since it would save me a lot of time.
