the time has come for dr guillotine.
Yes, well, preferably in the rose garden, reality TV and all.
But that isn't going to happen.
It will be interesting, at least, to see how far this little video spreads -- and whether or not it engenders any consequences at all.
You'll note, for example, that our illustrious pResident only appears before handpicked audiences -- that, or a group of children. Back in the old days, pResidential candidates were often seen addressing college age students -- but they've learned that such can not be trusted to not ask potentially embarrassing questions. Mr. Kerry, apparently, has yet to learn that lesson.
It is also commentary on our time when politicians of Kerry's rank DO make public appearances and there find themselves confronted by seemingly reasonable people asking questions about the steaming dung heap of a farce that is the official account of 9/11. The social fabric has begun to bifurcate
along these competing narrative lines.
History is the tale those who live to write it tell. The media, academia, etc., are significantly in their pocket. The powers that be are now in the somewhat embarrassing position of having to maintain a charade at all costs and, following, perhaps, the line of unintended consequences, now discover that their every effort to sustain it has, at least for some, the opposite effect. Ultimately, no matter who was directly responsible, the legal responsibility falls squarely on the shoulders of 'the Decider'. How much he knew is now irrelevant. The inescapable fact is he and many others knew far more than they can ever publicly admit. That they do so, on occasion, is (for them) lamentable but unavoidable.
The real horror may be that, even so, it will make no difference at all.
