Full Version: Oddball Nt Collapse Pic

I ran across this first shot this AM, and it looked odd to me. The plume was familiar from many other shots taken from similar vantage points, but it almost looked to me as though I could see debris from the NT collapse falling over (to the north of) WTC 7. Which I've never seen before in other pics. So I went looking around for comparison shots. Probably, just a strange camera angle on the first one, perhaps. I dunno...
The originals (in context) that I transferred over to photoshop
are here and here respectively.
Updated with a few more images- original source page - http://911research.wtc7.net/wtc/evidence/p...pses.html#north

That top photo has to be total bs. At no point did the plume come over the top of WTC7 afaik.

behind
Um... yes. It looks puzzling. (I have never noticed or thought about it before)

Somehow dont add up.

But I am open minded to "a strange camera angle" etc.

I don't get what is strange about it. The first picture is almost 90 different angle from the second. In the first you are looking at the long-side of the brick building; in the second you are looking at the short (+/-90°)

What brick building Painter? Ignore the buildings for a sec. Just focus on the visible features in the plume. I have difficulty accepting the fact that there is a 90 degree difference in perspective when I can see pretty much the exact same shapes in the same locations within the plume...

I agree UT. That's why I can't figure it out. Why would it get faked, though (if it did)?

Ok, on closer inspection I'm wrong. I didn't even see 7 in the first picture until I looked again.

I don't think the pictures have been doctored. They were taken with zoom lenses from far away. IOW, they are zoomed in on their subject with a long focal length which distorts the depth.

CF: The first pictures is taken close to the subject zoomed out with a wide angle (short focal length). The second photo is taken further away, but zoomed in (long focal length).

Thanks painter, that makes sense.

Now I see. What I thought was the black window area, is actually the on top penthouse section. That's why I thought it was coming over the top.

Don't show this sort of thing to the video fakery lovers ... the second photo is obviously doctored.
